'"Kuwaiti authorities have apprehended the person suspected of setting fire to a wedding tent and killing 41 people and said Monday the motive was personal. Local newspapers reported the groom's ex-wife was the arsonist.

The inferno Saturday night in the tribal area of al-Jahra, west of Kuwait City, ate up the women's tent in just three minutes and left behind bodies so charred they were unrecognizable. Guests likely crushed one another in a desperate attempt to flee. It was still unclear if the bride had survived."

An earlier story says that the fire killed "41 women and children," which makes sense, since it was the women's festivities that were targeted.

We'll see if the Kuwaiti police's claim that the ex-wife confessed to the arson and/or their evidence against her holds up. But longtime Fathers & Families activist Bill Zamzow writes in with an interesting thought--"This could well be the largest number of victims of a DV homicide(s) case on record."'

Maybe Canada will declare this a day of mourning like they have for that guy who killed those women. I forget his name.

I wonder just what did HE do to cause her to take such drastic deadly action? Probably made her wear tacky platform shoes during sex like poor Bloody Mary Winkler of Tennessee had to do.

Too bad she is not going to be prosecuted in Texas or any other US state for that matter because she would most likely be found not guilty by reason of temporary insanity and be out in a couple of years with no criminal record.

IN 2004 MURDERED A 14 MONTH OLD INFANT BY CUTTING OFF ITS ARMS WITH A BUTCHER’S KNIFE. CHILD BLED TO DEATH.
FOUND NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF INSANITY. INSANITY CURED AND RELEASED 2008 WITH NO CRIMINAL RECORD.

IN 2001 ANDREA YATES OF TEXAS MURDERED 5 CHILDREN BY DROWNING THEM IN A BATHTUB; SEE LIZA DIAZ. INITIALLY CONVICTED OF MURDER BUT LATER RETRIED AND FOUND NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF INSANITY. HER NEW ROOMMATE IS (WAS) DENA SCHLOSSER. ANDREA WOULD PROBABLY BE DECLARED CURED RELEASED BY NOW IF HER CASE WAS NOT STILL IN THE PUBLIC EYE.

was the second page before it even came up,
and then on a .com.

a few years ago when this "refusal to report" pc came to
the surface it was said by some guys in the news rooms
(probably on their way out the door), that the women
on staff threatened to sue and walk off the job if
women in a bad light news items were printed.

i pretty much dismissed it then. these days it explains a LOT.

so much for "fair and balanced" eh, FOX NEWS?
can't be either if it's not reported, must be their logic.

can anyone w/ half a brain actually argue this isn't
what it obviously is, worship of all things female? if a man
had done this to women it would be front page EVERYWHERE, for weeks.

since feminists groups have been as silent as everyone else,
(too busy stuffing the gov handout (vawa) bucks$$ into a bag)
i guess we can assume they got a good belly laugh at this.
