I'm sure that there are others out there that have had first hand experience with this particular disorder. It is real, and each woman has different reactions. The system failed the woman and the child. The system failed us all. She should have been admitted for observation until her episode was over, and it does go away. Those that cry for blood because that is what would happen to a man, you want revenge? I would like to see common sense and compassion across the board regardless of gender. I would like to see the real problem addressed, the system. Just my opinion. I would like to see more people attacking the reason for all this subterfuge within our society. As of late I have seen more positive articles coming from women, very encouraging. We will only be successful if our voice is as one, both genders together. Only then will the laws, and systems of control that have created this division be addressed.

Many men who do bad things to others are unquestionably psychotic through no fault of their own but they never seem to get a pass from society for the harm that they do. We treat their psychosis with either prison or the graveyard.

She will never go to prison or be executed. This happened in Texas the state with the Andrea Yates Pass. She will be found not guilty by reason of temporary insanity and be out after a couple of years in a psychiatric ward like many others before her see below.

Her fate isn't my concern, but thank you for your interest. My true concern is how far this system will go in order to perpetuate our current situation. Men crying for blood against women due to how men have been treated. Women taking advantage of men because they can, and are encouraged to do so. My concern is about the puppets. I wonder when they will quit dancing to the pull of the strings and dance on their own? The picture of a frantic puppeteer spasmodicly jerking about trying to restore their brand of theatre for some reason gives me pleasure, and sometimes hope. The tragic situations that you posted only reinforce my distain for the system. Men are not only being oppressed and persecuted but children as well. All for the sake of divide and conquer.

Let the sins of the past die? I do not think so. That has not worked.
It is time to kick it up a notch. Call them out on even the most trivial of
things. If it ultimately leads to violence so be it. The feminists used these tactics.
The one thing I can say for them, they have taught us well and we will take their lessons to heart or head whichever will inflict the most damage.

David Delong; That's the most intelligent post I have read here in a long time (at 2009-07-29 06:44).

My take on things:

Change will only occur if you get the majority of the people on the same side. Since women make up 50% of the population, MRAs need to start influencing them. The first step in influencing someone is to interact and communicate with them.

People generally do not like to communicate with people that use derogatory names in reference to their race or gender. So I believe it will be very difficult for this site to have any influence on women. Some of you may say, "so what?", but as I said, you will not be doing the MRA movement any favors if you do not start encouraging women to listen to what you have to say. If you can influence a few women, those women will talk to other women, and so on.

If the reason for posting articles about violent women is the bias in sentencing, I would suggest waiting to post the story until it actually contains news about the sentencing, and then offer a solution like encouraging members to write to the judge or politicians who have jurisdiction in the case. If the reason for posting female crime-type stories is for any other reasons, then look at the comments under the story and see if your goal was accomplished in getting the kind of reaction you were hoping for. Usually I just see comments trashing women, which as I mentioned before, separates us even more and will do NOTHING to further men's rights.

I enjoy articles posted that invite intelligent conversation. This includes education, health, relationships, public policy, father's rights etc. I also think these topics are more appealing to anyone (male or female) that should come across this website and, therefor, would be more inclined to join the group and leave a comment.

I am in no way suggesting that we adopt PC standards or start censoring comments; but I would like to suggest that the moderators limit the articles that have little to do with men's rights and are more about showing the cruel and violent members of the female gender. I have never seen any evidence that one gender is morally superior over the other, so I hate the fact that this sites tries to portray pro-male morality over women.

The article that I am commenting under is about a sick, sick, SICK individual that committed an unthinkable crime, but I am sure somewhere back in history I could find that a man committed a similar or equally disgusting act. All this proves is that we have sick PEOPLE in the world. The crime itself has nothing to do with gender.

If this site stays as a 'boy's club' and does nothing to encourage female members I do not see any change on the horizon. I think in ten years you will still be a bunch of guys sitting around bashing women. That's not meant as an insult it is just a generalization as to how this site is perceived by many who view it.

Instead of attacking women and declaring war on a whole gender, try isolating the issues that are important, and then focus on the issue not the gender, and fight on a political level. I believe we will have more success that way.

Kris, thank you for telling us how to be good little MRA's. (The way I remember it the early feminists did not consult men over how they should protest.)

p.s. David, you seem to be delusional at best. Men 'crying for women's blood' are definitely a very small minority. Asking for equality in punishment is not crying for blood.

I wasn't around back then, but they must have got a few men on their side because they certainly have influenced a lot of men (male judges, male politicians, etc.). I think for the feminist to get men on their side was strategic and is what probably put them in the strong position they are in now.

Not all women are feminist, which is why I suggest not to declare war on the whole female gender. I think the non-feminist women would make great members to this site.

If getting the opposite gender involved worked for feminist, it can work for MRAs too.

You suggest that the moderators should limit articles that are exclusively regarding violent and cruel women. The reason for posting these articles is that there is almost no mainstream media attention paid to crimes perpetrated by females. A majority of the population believe that only men can commit atrocious crimes, such as the one mentioned in the story above. It must be reinforced over and over again that woman can and do commit the same crimes as men and that both sexes need to be treated equally by the (in)justice system.
