This U.K. Sheriff Cites Officials for Serious Statistical Violations
Article here. Excerpt:
'Here come the stats police.
Mobilized by distressingly low levels of public trust in official statistics, the U.K. government is embarking on a daring, and possibly unique, experiment. With broad support, Parliament in 2007 approved the formation of the U.K. Statistics Authority, a group with the budget, authority and independence to question other government agencies on the numbers they release to the public.
After its formation last year, the authority got off to a slow start, but it has already taken to task other government agencies for presenting data in a misleading way. Now, it is gearing up for audits on hot-button topics, such as crime statistics and education test scores, whose reliability has come into question.'

'The UK has a new government agency which calls politicians on their bullshit statistics. It also formally reprimands politicians for twisted policy recommendations based on bullshit statistics. I believe that if we had something like this in the United States, it could be used to confront the feminists about their many lies, distortions, and misconceptions.'
MANN is working on this new accounts issue and hope either to have the spam abuse issue resolved soon or put in place another kind of solution to allow folks to get new accounts.
Maybe short term - Maybe
An agency like this may in fact do something about BS statistics - in the very short term. Longer term - look out.
A government agency by definition operates through the political system. A politically driven organization that awards credibility to, or discredits statistics could easily become a powerful tool for the politically connected - and that ain't us folks!
What reason is there to believe that this won't become just another government agency beholden to feminists?
I'm very skeptical.
True
The formation of such an agency here in the U.S. could be useful. We men's activists NEED to stay alert and sieze the moment, if such an agency comes into being, we NEED to make sure they hear us and notice us. TU CEDE MALIS. I am doing everything I possibly can to attract new members to the Men's activist movement. So far I have attracted 11 new members this year,so far. It, as all of you know, isn't easy but not impossible. From what I understand, the movement is growing larger everyday. The little cracks in the feminist mantra are getting larger, as people are getting tired of hearing all of the BS that feminists have put out and are putting out.
