• Last year, Harvard University agreed to set aside women-only hours at one of its fitness centers for students after Muslim women pleaded their case.

• Curves for Women gyms, a fast-growing franchise in the United States, has rapidly expanded into the Middle East, with more than two dozen facilities in Israel, Egypt, Lebanon, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar opening in the past two years, according to Becky Frusher, head of corporate communications for Curves.

Qatar is becoming a feminist paradise. Bear with me on this one (I've been there and will be moving there for a job soon).

One day a week, only women/children are allowed in the zoo (I was turned away for daring to have a penis). The dance clubs let my girlfriend in (with smiles) while they pointed me down the aisle (with condescending look) where I had to pay 80 riyals (22 USD) just to walk in the door. Some supermarkets have a women-only CHECKOUT LINE (heaven forbid they have to wait in line!). Like the article suggested, the sexist gym Curves thrives happily over there (while Gold's Gym charges far less for women to use their facilities than men and I'm fully expecting that there's some forbidden workout section where only women can workout).

By the way, women don't have to cover up in public and they are freely allowed to drive and work. This isn't Saudi Arabia we're talking about. It's becoming a feminist paradise where women can have their cake and eat it too.

These women are sexist little weasels, and so are the ones in the comments section going on about how great it all is.
