"Women-only lunch has guy fed up"

Commentary here. Excerpt:

'Q. I’m a 50-year-old man who works as a department director at a large international corporation. My supervisor is a vice president, and she oversees about 20 people, split evenly between men and women.

Last week she sent an e-mail to the women in the department, inviting them to an all-expenses-paid “extended lunch” that would include manicures. She advised them that if the men asked where they were going, to say they had an off-site meeting.

Some female co-workers forwarded me the e-mail. I was appalled by the exclusion of men. Since the department has both professional men and women, the supervisor should have offered everyone a free lunch in the conference room rather than pull such a biased stunt.'

It is a social incongruity that women in Western culture are viewed as over sized children with diminished capacity when it comes to personal responsibility but are lauded as the Second Coming and the most responsible choice when in positions of authority where their decisions could and do affect the lives and fortunes of many people.

So what is this mere male going to do about this blatant act of discrimination? Roll over? So why aren't lawsuits galore being filed? They would be if the roles were reversed!

The West is a dying entity.

It all comes down to the same thing: If the men fight this, they fight ALONE. Were the roles reversed, one phone call and N.O.W. and their ilk would descend on the scene like raptors. Who do these men call? The men's rights movement? The same goes with the judges, legislators, police, et al. You know, the folks we blithely dismiss as manginas. Well, the fems proffer the carrot and also wield the stick—"plata o plomo," silver or lead—what we got?

It always comes back to organization, size, and activism. Until we get BIG, women are going to do what they feel like doing to us. The guys are lucky the supervisor didn't slap em, then have the feminists call it self defense.
