Pro football player stabbed in head and neck by girlfriend

'TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say the girlfriend of Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Geno Hayes stabbed him in the head and in the neck.

A Hillsborough County Sheriff's spokeswoman says Hayes was taken to a hospital by a friend Saturday. The 21-year-old former Florida State player was treated and later released.

Deputies arrested 19-year-old Shevelle Bagley on Saturday afternoon. The sheriff's spokeswoman says Hayes and Bagley got into an argument, which led to Bagley grabbing a pair of scissors and stabbing Hayes in the head. He managed to get the scissors away from her, but authorities say she then grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the neck.

Bagley was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Jail records show she was released Sunday on $25,000 bail.'

All we have to do is sit back and wait for the media to say and do - NOTHING!

The comparison with the publicity surrounding Rihanna's story will be an easy one to make.

And then maybe SOME people will start to notice - "why is there no furore about THIS example of female on male violence?" - and at last our cause may get some more respect from some quarters.

just heard - oprey is going to have a show about this too.
she wants some questions answered

1. why did he leave a knife where she could get to it?
2. who can she sue for her misery?
3. why couldn't he get out of her way?
4. why isn't he under arrest? D.V. is only against women.

word is that this woman has already been to a shrink (free).
she is having mental problems. n.o.w. has already
informed the judge what she is willing to do and what
her "sentence" will be (or not be). whatever.

just caught the end of this on the news. going to
air sometime in the winter? when something or other freezes over?

Aye, all his fault. They got into an argument; no doubt he had the temerity to answer back to her. He'll be charged with disagreeing with a woman no doubt. What's worse, he even had the cheek to stop her stabbing him with a pair of scissors AND then went on to take them off her! No wonder she had to stab him with a knife to teach him a lesson!

I don't know about the rest of you but I think he's f*cked.
