'SENECA FALLS — Tuesday’s national election results were good news to Eleanor Smeal, former president of the National Organization for Women.
Smeal, now head of the Feminist Majority organization in Arlington, Va., spoke Saturday at the New York State NOW convention in Seneca Falls.

Smeal said President-Elect Obama’s policy committee has some excellent members, including several very strong feminists with a knowledge of the issues.
She said with the Obama-Biden team in the White House and bigger Democratic majorities in both houses of Congress, feminists should “think big,’’ despite the conventional wisdom that a more centrist, bi-partisan approach is being advocated by many in light of the serious problems the country faces.

The delegates were also asked to sign a reaffirmation of the Declaration of Sentiments , a product of the first women’s rights convention conducted in Seneca Falls in July 1848.
Today, the NOW delegates will conduct workshop sessions, view the all-girl created and performed play “Keep Your Eyes Open’’ and announce the results of voting for officers and resolutions.'

It's just a pantomime. Elections sort of revive the electorate with hope. But look at history and tell me if that hope as ever been justified? If politician where the answer then there would already be no problems because they would have all been solved. For sure there has been no lack of politics throughout the ages. Electing Obama gave America a warm feeling about itself. It will be good for feminist but that would be the case no matter who was elected. It will also be the case at the next election, and the one after that and so on. Feminism has forbidden men to use the one weapon we have and that is our strength. Just think about this.
Also you can not hate feminist and love America. I know a lot do but this is just to be confused. There is only one America and it is you that is the outsider not them. Sirs you are exiles.

I completely disagree with you there. Our mental strength is a formidable weapon too when used correctly.
Unfortunately, feminism has forbidden men to use ANY weapon, because to disagree with feminism is to be a chauvanist, which is to be a bad person.

Well han090 I am not sure if it is our only weapon or not. It is the weapon of last resort, and I think it's that bad that we are pushed back further than our last resort.
I am not too sure about our mental strength. I see no mental strength. I see only mental defeat. Brute force does not look such a bad idea to me. In Islam women are subject to men's punishment for 'rebellion'. But you Americans are busy destroying Islam and imposing feminism, and doing this by (yes) physical strength in the form of military strength.
The whole thing seems so hopeless as to be beyond recovery.
