Lynnwood woman made up rape story, police say

'A Lynnwood woman who told police Monday a stranger came into her apartment and sexually assaulted her has changed her story, police said.

The woman, 18, admitted to detectives the assault had not occurred, Lynnwood police Cmdr. Jim Nelson said. She provided a statement to police that said she hadn’t intended for things to get this far and that the entire incident did not happen.

Detectives will refer the case to the Snohomish County Prosecutors office who will determine if there’s enough evidence to charge the woman with false reporting.'

Rather than arresting these criminals for simply making a false police report, criminalize false rape accusations make them a major felony which they are!

A false rape accusation is rape!

It is past time society got a damned clue about this growing crime.

Our society badly needs a false accuser registry, lest something like this happen again.

Actually I'll be surprised if it DOESN'T happen again.

I'm not sure of the legality, but with a dedicated website and some googling the name, age, date, link, pic, etc could be posted and put in alphabetical order. Granted this would take initiative and funding.

My false rape accusser, falselly accussed another guy 10 months prior to falselly accussing me.
There are serial false rape accussers out there.
