Why Jane, the C Word?!

More to laugh at for you guys here on "V Day"; Jane Fonda is busted on live TV (on "The View", no less), talking about The Vagina Monologues, when she uses "the C word" in context! And on Feb. 14!! Incredible!

Why read fiction when you have reality?

Jane Fonda's stellar moment was in the sci-fi flick "Barbarella," where her boobs were weightless because she was in outer space.

She has had them surgically reconstituted and lifted since returning to Earth, because ... well...

Gravity is a bitch.

Do they really need a show about that question? The answer is simple: ME ME ME ME ME ME ME!

... he'd be fired from all his jobs, whatever they were, and banished to the Land of Hasbeen Celebrities. But because it's a woman, and ol' Hanoi Jane at that, she gets off with an apology.

If "The C Word" is soooo offensive (like "The N Word") and people should get their careers summarily whacked for using them on TV, why not Hanoi Jane?

But if she had used the word "dick", "cock", etc., they would have all just laughed. Why the 2x-standard? Oh yeah, the human vagina is sacred, the human penis is-- not in the least. It's so un-sacred it gets cut up shortly after birth as a sacrifice to the Great Goddess' Skin Restoration and Anti-Wrinkle Formula Program. So THAT'S why!!! Now I get it.

I saw most of The Wicker Man for the first time the other night. It has been called one of the most "unintentional comedies" ever made. And yes, there is a lot in it that is funny and fanciful, and unbelievable. But not for the reasons most would say so. Nonetheless it is likely to be of interest to MRAs; an analogy between the movie's plot and what happens to fathers in divorce/child custody is quite apt, IMJ.

Something tells me that on this glorious V-Day, a mandated celebration (and boost to the retail economy) of the fairer sex with all its obvious qualities ....

you could not take up a collection of even $20 bucks from this MANN crowd to buy a decent woman a nice dinner, let alone flowers.

What's up with that?

Didn't you guys get the fax ... "no money, no honey?"

That's right, back in the day Fonda had no problem posing for penthouse. I must admit, she went from a hottie to an angry feminist. In this picture she has no problem using her sexuality for fame. Thankfully it was a young Fonda and not Kim Gandy.

This is not an x-rated photo. Its just the magazine cover. She was promoting a movie called.."Barbarella". A movie I wouldn't expect to see on the Lifetime network any time soon.

That is a classic bit of research!

Thanks for that.

Jane Fonda was always kind of dim, compared to her brother Peter. Father Henry was the real genius in that family.

Jane may have been one of the very first feminists to turn herself into a marketable commodity.

A real pioneer!

Surely she learned all the moves.

(PS - Beware of the Dylan sigs. They will lead you to nowhere and his lyrics are about as sensible as his interviews or his autobiography. It is a swamp and you will not come out of it if you get in too deep... Seriously. I have seen Bob in concert three times this past year and he is finally starting to become himself. It is scary to watch....)

She was good-looking until her mid thirties, now she looks like her brother - literally!!
She must be in an "ugly old biddie" contest with Gloria Steinem. She looks like that lady in "Hostel" who had her face burnt off. She looks like she's auditioning for a remake of "Bride of Frankenstein" (with her playing Frankenstein!). Her father's rotted corpse gets more dates than she does.

I think casting her to play the mom in "Monster in Law" was a good choice. That role is like her biography. She's clearly not all there anymore.
