Dads DO matter: Why children brought up by BOTH parents are happier and more successful

Article here. Excerpt:

"Children behave better, learn more and are better adjusted if their father is involved in their lives, a major study shows...

...Anna Sarkadi, of Sweden's Uppsala University, where the research was carried out, said: "Our detailed 20-year review shows that overall, children reap positive benefits if they have active and regular engagement with a father figure.

"We found various studies that showed that children who had positively involved father figures were less likely to smoke and get into trouble with the police, achieved better levels of education and developed good friendships with children of both sexes.

"Long-term benefits included women who had better relationships with partners and a greater sense of mental and physical well-being at the age of 33 if they had a good relationship with their father at 16.

"It may seem obvious that what's worked for centuries is good for individuals and society, but that's what we found."

I am always trying to convince women I represent on child custody & visitation cases that this is the case. I am a strong advocate for children having both parents in their lives, unless it is contrary to their best interest. I hope to find more and more studies proving what some of us already know.

everybody w/ a brain already knows this. but we have evolved a system where profits are made from the devastation that results in removing men from the family, and ultimately depositing many, many of them in prisons. the rest just forfeit their property, send checks on time and beg to see their own children, all the while being belittled by the feminist machine.

again, when these "civilized" societies start making $$$ on something it is almost impossible to stop. someone said long ago that great societies must have wars to prosper. in the late 70's we needed new enemies, so we just declared war on segments of our own society...drug users, fathers and men in general. germans did it (Jews), russians did it, chinese did it. we just required a war to focus the masses. personally, i believe it is a fatal flaw, and the result of a lack of initiative, compassion, intelligence, and a bunch of other words i can't spell. it's just sooo easy to create a boogy MAN.

In my favourite fiction book, 1984, George Orwell says "No one knows for sure whether or not the war is real." This signifies that the war that takes place in the world of 1984 might not even be real, but is likely just a charade to gain control of the people. Fear equals power. If you can instill fear in people, you can more easily get them to back your self-serving agenda. Feminists do this all the time with their 1 in 4 chance of rape bullshit. I want to disprove that right here right now. I read on snopes.com that 34.4/100 000 people are raped in the United States. That's a far far far far cry from 1 in 4. Debunked!

BTW, I'm not surprised that kids that grow up with both parents end up more successful in life. It seems like common sense if you think about it. Kids need a positive male and female role model in their lives. And as the old saying goes, "two heads are better than one". Of course a child raised by two parents is going to be happier and more fulfilled, not to mention, better able to achieve things.

This right here proves the selfishness of the feminist movement. They sacrifice the happiness of children just so they can spite men for no reason. Bitches!

"Kids need a positive male and female role model in their lives."

Ummm --- where precisely in today's feminized society does one look for a "positive female"?

And, how can you truly tell?

If she's actually "positive?"

(As opposed to a predator-in-training?)
