'The Bloodstained Men & Their Friends, a traveling anti-circumcision protest group, set up outside Providence Place Mall yesterday in concert with Intact Rhode Island. Both groups have held protests in the past, but this year report that their message was greeted with more thoughtful consideration and less incoherent invective than in the past.
Circumcision is an issue that confronts Americans mores on sex, childcare, health and religion. It’s a hot button issue. The Bloodstained Men, wearing coveralls with a large red stain on their crotches, confront these issues in not so subtle ways. Their signs, such as, “STOP CUTTING BABY PENIS” and “STOP TORTURING BOYS” are jarring and unexpected sights. ...'

'During demonstrations, Brother K wears white pants with a strategically placed fake blood stain that alludes to the name of the nonprofit organization he established.
The organization is called Bloodstained Men and it aims to call attention to what Brother K refers to as a cruel and barbaric medical procedure: male circumcision. The fake blood stain is located in the crotch region, which Brother K said is a kind of “shock treatment” for people who are in denial about the seriousness of the practice.
“It’s destructive, harmful and unnecessary,” Brother K said. “The blood stain on my pants is the wound that I wear under my pants, it’s scarred on my body.”

'Cormega Copening, a 17-year-old high school student, has been charged with five felony counts and forced off his football team, just because he had pictures of himself and his girlfriend, who is the same age as him, on his cell phone. He faces the possibility of being added to the sex offender registry for this "offense." His life as he knows it would be ruined.
Yes, both teens were naked in the photos. However, their relationship was entirely consensual and broke no laws. Furthermore, the photos were private, for their viewing only. It wasn’t until the police searched Copening's phone that they were seen by anyone else. Furthermore, four of the five counts against Copening are for having pictures of himself. His girlfriend, Brianna Denson, was also charged. She accepted a plea for 12 months of probation.
Please join me and help end this terrible nightmare. Sign my petition asking Cumberland County District Attorney William West to drop the charges against young Cormega Copening and reverse Ms. Denson’s plea deal.

'I’m a slut, and I have been shamed. Yesterday I rocked up to the Amber Rose Slut Walk in downtown LA, alongside Rebel Media broadcaster and libertarian political candidate Lauren Southern. Event organisers called the police when they realised we didn’t buy into their barmy conspiracy theories about patriarchy and rape culture, and we were escorted from the event by the LAPD.
Southern and I represent something horrifying to the loony feminist Left: we’re not straight white males, yet we’re both relentlessly critical of hysterical, fact-free narratives about an American rape epidemic (which is just wrong), the idea that society supports rapists (also wrong, we put them in jail) and the notion that somehow western culture subtly encourages others to become rapists, sexist, and misogynists (hilariously wrong).

'How President Barack Obama and countless other politicians and pundits can fail to grasp—or be unwilling to confront—the obvious connection between the breakdown of American family life and a rise in violent crime is a mystery deserving examination.
For example, after Thursday’s Oregon mass shooting, Obama predictably focused attention on the availability of firearms on America, calling on citizens to pressure legislators to enact gun control laws.
“The reporting is routine. My response here at this podium ends up being routine,” Obama said in a remarkably lucid moment of his speech.
What Obama did not say in his impassioned address, what would have truly been a break in the “routine” and rhetoric that inevitably follow tragedies involving firearms, was that 26-year-old shooter Chris Harper Mercer was the umpteenth example of a fatherless boy who grows up to be a violent criminal.

'She’s on a mission to be a softer, warmer, funnier candidate — but according to a new book, the real Hillary Clinton is so volatile and prone to violent outbursts that she terrorizes staff, Secret Service agents and even her own husband.
In “The Clintons’ War On Women” (Skyhorse), out Oct. 13, political strategist Roger Stone details Hillary’s abusive behavior — dating back to the Clintons’ days in Arkansas, where Bill served as governor.
“Hillary Clinton has a long history of being domestically violent with Bill,” Stone writes. “Hillary has beaten Bill, hit him with hard objects, scratched and clawed him, and made him bleed.”
Stone, a controversial figure who recently decamped from Donald Trump’s campaign, also delves into the more fantastical rumors that have dogged the Clintons for years.
Accounts of marital discord, however, have been well-reported for decades. Even Bill Clinton’s former press officer Dee Dee Myers later admitted that she covered for the first lady.'

'Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos was ejected from the Amber Rose Slut Walk in Los Angeles this afternoon. Slut Walkers could be heard yelling to police officers, “Thanks for taking out the trash!”
Yiannopoulos was reporting from the event with a film crew, interviewing Rebel Media broadcaster and Canadian libertarian politician Lauren Southern about the feminist movement which protests against “rape culture” and “slut-shaming.”
Southern had just asked host Amber Rose whether she believed in rape culture. Event organizers immediately announced to Breitbart that they were calling law enforcement to have both journalists escorted from Pershing Square in downtown LA.

'Kids can get in trouble for smooching. They can get in trouble for touching. They can get in trouble for chewing, playing with toys, and making sugary snacks. They can get in trouble for waving their hands the wrong way (don’t even get me started on pencil-twirlers). And yes, they can even get in trouble for staring.
According to WLWT.com, the principal at St. Gabriel Consolidated School—a private institution—suspended a pair of 12-year-old boys for a day for playing a staring game with a female student:
`Tolbert believes her son and another student at St. Gabriel were unfairly punished.
Tolbert said the boys got into a staring match with a female student last school year.
"He was playing a game with her. He said she was laughing. They were engaged. When she finally giggled and said stop. He stopped,” Tolbert said.
The female student was cited in court papers as saying she also stared at the boys.`

'As the jurors walked out of the Newark courtroom on Friday, Rutgers-Newark professor Anna Stubblefield sat slumped over at the defense table, weeping with her head against her hand.
The jury had convicted the 45-year-old philosophy professor of sexually assaulting a 34-year-old disabled man, known as D.J., who has cerebral palsy and is unable to speak beyond making noises. Psychologists have determined he is mentally incompetent and cannot consent to sexual activity.
Stubblefield had claimed she and D.J. fell in love, saying he is not intellectually impaired and was able to communicate through a controversial typing method, known as "facilitated communication."
...
Stubblefield is now facing between 10 and 40 years in state prison when she is sentenced on Nov. 9.
After the jury had left the courtroom, Stubblefield's attorney, James Patton, asked Superior Court Judge Siobhan Teare to allow Stubblefield to remain released on bail until her sentencing.

'40-year-old Gopal Shetye was acquitted by the Bombay High Court on Thursday. However, there was nothing to rejoice for this man except the consolation of being proved innocent. Shetye is now sitting on hunger strike at the Azad Maidan seeking to meet Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and demanding that seven years of his life be returned during which his world turned upside down.
His release came three months after he had completed his seven year sentence in a rape case. Shetye of Nagpur's Narked had appealed in 2010 after he was convicted by the fast track court in Mumbai's Sewri.
Lawyer Ramesh Majgaonkar said Shetye had twice applied for bail before the Bombay High Court but these were rejected. It was his third bail application that bore fruit.

'Feminism in London (FiL), one of the largest feminist conferences in the UK, has seen two major speakers pull out because of “ideological totalitarianism” and “sectarian” “warring feminist factions,” who fell out over an attempt to “no-platform” certain speakers who were “unsafe” because everyone did not agree with them on everything.
It all started when male-to-female transgendered feminist campaigner, and proponent of so-called ‘safe spaces,’ Jane Fae was uninvited or “no-platformed” form the feminist conference, which is due to start of the 24th of this month.
“It would have been grotesque for me to have been on a platform talking about the need for safe spaces, whilst the question of me being unsafe was on the agenda,” saidFae on BBC Radio 4.

'As I wrote in my column yesterday, not all accusations of campus sexual assault are black and white. Yet colleges are treating accusations as if the accused were a potential rapist, even when the accusation involves nothing more than requesting social media connections one too many times.
Kimberly Lau, a lawyer who has defended wrongly accused students in more than 40 cases, released a statement regarding a recent survey purporting to show that one-in-four women will be sexually assaulted while in college.
Lau notes what other critics of the survey, including me, have pointed out: that it relies on an overly broad definition of "sexual assault" in order to inflate its numbers for scary headlines. Lau has specific knowledge of the ways normal interactions, though possibly jerkish, have been elevated to the level of assault, warranting severe punishment.'

'A teenager took his own life after he was falsely accused of rape, an inquest heard.
Jay Cheshire, 17, who was "mature and well-liked", was at the centre of a police investigation which ended in June this year when the alleged victim dropped the charge.
But he tried to commit suicide a few weeks later and after being taken to Southampton General Hospital, died on 5 July.
An inquest at Winchester Coroners Court, Hants, heard Jay struggled to cope with the false accusations and was "absolutely distraught."
Jay, from Southampton, was a sixth form student at Bitterne Park School studying English Literature, Film Studies and Geography - and hoped to become a history teacher or a writer.'

Today, the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) is calling for a moment of silence at 11 a.m. EST (8 a.m. PST/9 a.m. MST/10 a.m. CST) to raise awareness that every 9 seconds, a woman is battered or abused.
In this awareness effort, no mention is made of male victims. But the unspoken truth is that millions of men are also the victims of domestic abuse each year, at comparable rates.
Moreover, it is often harder for them to find support or services--for example, many domestic violence shelters do not allow men in.
Call or email NCADV and tell them this unspoken bias against male victims is unacceptable.
This is the silence we're paying attention to today.
Call: (303) 839-1852
Email: mainoffice-at-ncadv.org
Please take a moment to speak for the silenced now.

'He languished in jail for over four months for a sexual assault which the court says he never committed. His children were mocked and ostracised in school and his family was reduced to penury. His brother, who was looking after the family, went into depression.
For 35-year-old Ramesh Kumar, life took a sudden turn on April 9 this year when he says he demanded his agreed fare of Rs 500 from a woman who had hired his cab late at night in Dwarka. As an argument ensued, the woman tried to bite her way out and flee. When he tried to stop her, cops reached the spot, alerted by a PCR call made by a passerby about a brawl.
Kumar's pleas about his innocence went unheard. He was arrested and within no time had been named as the second rapist cabbie on the prowl after the Uber incident. It was a nightmare for him. He found himself in jail number 4 of Tihar the next day. He had a new identity: Inmate number 3519.
