Peter Zorhab from the NZ Equality Party sent in another article on media bias. In this piece, he focuses more broadly on the influece of left-wing politics and the struggle men's issues has in getting airtime in this environment. Whether your politics are left or right, his points provoke a lot of thought on this issue.

Based on this study done by National Women's Law Center, boys that feel like they were stereotyped into a "male" vocational choice, and females who feel like they were stereotyped into a "female" vocational choice, may be able to sue their school system for failing to persuade the boys into child care vocations and the girls into welding and construction vocations... Title IX will be the pry-bar for this sham."

express purpose of lobbying the legislature and
raising the issues of gender
discrimination in the court system during this
election cycle in November 2002. It is my belief that
we need to approach the issue as a matter of Civil
Rights versus Father's Rights. By taking the approach
of equal treatment under the Law we will also be
drawing in women to uphold a basic cause which they
themselves have benefited. Discrimination is
discrimination, no matter who is the object of it. I
am sure you are appalled as I am when anyone is
discriminated against for whatever the reason whether
it be race, age, nationality, ethnicity, religion or
gender. The reasons given for the preferential
treatment of certain groups range from the subtle to
the outrageous, this is done by using people's fear

to the war effort (which in itself was commendable),

SJones writes "The governor of Oklahoma showed some rare integrity by vetoing the feminist bill mandating surgical castration for male-only sex offenders on their first conviction. He needs our support because he'll sure catch hell for doing the right thing.

From the article: "The law, which takes full effect on Oct. 1, creates a system under which anyone could point out errors in documents; if an error is confirmed, an agency would have to remove the data from government Web sites and publications." This could have interesting implications for feminist-inspired "information" about gender issues."

Bledso writes "My local paper, The Albany Times Union, recently ran this opinion column by Martha Ezzard who is a columnist for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She expresses some harsh criticism of the IWF and declares feminism an "unfinished revolution". She covers quite a broad spectrum of the usual myths. The Times Union has been a staunch supporter of this type of rhetoric and I think they really deserve an onslaught of rebuttals. I've tried to write them numerous times, but they simply ignore me. Unfortunately, there aren't many strong voices in my neck of the woods. Let's make ourselves known!"

a dangerous UN treaty is getting new attention. The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) is an absolute attack on men and masculinity worldwide. A Senate hearing is scheduled for June 13 to consider ratifying it. Radical feminists are visiting Senators to convince them to vote for it. The UN committee overseeing the enforcement of CEDAW has: Reprimanded Belarus for celebrating Mother's Day, Told China to "decriminalize prostitution," Complained about Mexico's "lack of access ... to easy and swift abortion," Told Armenia to "combat the traditional stereotype of women in the noble role of mother." Please urge your senator to VOTE NO on CEDAW."
