"According to a study by the National Health and Social Life Survey, the U.S. circumcision rate peaked at nearly 90 percent in the early 1960s but began dropping in the '70s. By 2004, the most recent year for which government figures are available, about 57 percent of all male newborns delivered in hospitals were circumcised. In some states, the rate is well below 50 percent.
...
The debate escalated in February, when studies found that heterosexual men in Africa who were circumcised had HIV infection rates up to 60 percent lower than uncircumcised men. Because of those studies, the American Academy of Pediatrics is taking another look at its policy."

Every now and then, we have to laugh (or we'll cry, right)? I am betting these two pieces will send more than a few of you to the floor laughing.
No Sex Tonight (on craigslist.com)
Spoiled Rotten (on misanthropic-bitch.com)
Some of you may be blocked at work for these sites, so if so I'll suggest you wait to look at home. It's worth it though. Enjoy!

Marc Rudov, the author of 'The No Nonsense Man' has revealed a very disturbing rise in female infidelity.
He says: "Isn’t it amazing that yet more evidence comes along to buttress the premise of my book, The Man’s No-Nonsense Guide to Women: How to Succeed in Romance on Planet Earth, that men and women are virtually the same. No, it’s not amazing. I’ve been telling you this for over one year." Read the article here.
Mr. Rudov has also revealed a website being promoted by major corporations that 'encourage women to cheat' you can find this site here.

Essay here. Excerpt:
'When a female high school teacher deflowers a student, she gets a judicial wrist-slap. When a wife kills her husband, it's the dependable Battered Woman Syndrome defense to the rescue. When a woman falsely accuses a man of abuse and destroys his reputation and career, the chivalrous prosecutor turns the other cheek. If a mother tries to alienate a child from his dad, that's "protecting the child from a domineering father." And when a woman kills her unborn child, she's exercising her constitutional right to privacy.'

Here's some more misandry on Father's Day. When you read the article notice how Hitler's name comes up. Excerpt:
"There is now much evidence that the role of the father, even his absence, is just as important in shaping presidents as is the role of the mother. Affirmed and empowered by their mother's love but also hurt and frustrated by their father's absence, a leader, including most American presidents, will strive to prove their value and worth with their great achievements."

Thats right gentlemen. Obama insulted every father in this nation by attacking them on a Father's Day. I find this disturbing. A potential president has an anti-father ideology. Excerpt:
'Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said Friday that fathers have to share the responsibility for raising children and caring for families because their role doesn't end at conception.
Days before Father's Day, the first-term Illinois senator and father of two daughters delivered his life message as well as an assessment of what government needs to do in remarks at a Baptist church.
"What makes you a man is not the ability to have a child but the courage to raise a child," Obama said.
In his prepared text, Obama said: Men need to "stop acting like boys - who need to realize that responsibility does not end at conception.'

Members of Fathers 4 Justice (F4J), Children's Rights Initiative Sharing Parents Equally (CRISPE) and National Coalition of Free Men, Los Angeles (NCFMLA) met at the Family Relations Courthouse in Sacramento, California on Tuesday to protest laws, policies and decisions that deny parents (mostly Fathers) equal (50/50) shared parenting.
The week before Father’s Day seemed an appropriate time to stage the Sacramento protest, but Father’s rights groups agree that no special day is needed to protest the egregious treatment of parents (mostly Fathers) by Family Relations Courts and CA lawmakers.

'My husband, Robert Pedersen, found out today (Father's Day) the most incredible news to date! He won the Runner-Up Award to Best Life Magazine's nationwide Hero Dad Contest!
...
Never forget! It is wrong to deny a child the fundamental right of EQUAL time, love, nurturing and education with BOTH fit parents. And yes we know they spelled his name wrong, it is something I can proudly say happens to me as well! Happy Father's Day to all! There are many Hero Dads! Robert's hero is his dad who, along with his hero mom, raised 4 boys!'

Finally. A state bar ethics committee has DISBARRED DA Mike Nifong, the villain who attempted to imprison three innocent young men who were blatantly falsely accused of rape.
Let's hope that this is only the beginning of the justice and revenge aspects of this and that also Duke University and the villainous "Group of 88" are also punished through lawsuits.
Sadly, the woman who filed the false charges will go completely unpunished, though I think the victims should attempt to bankrupt her and attach her future earnings through lawsuits while also relentlessly trying to convince the new DA to prosecute her. Mental instability is not an excuse for criminal behavior and she should be criminally prosecuted along with Nifong.

"Most fathers don’t want to leave their children. They love their kids and want to be engaged in every aspect of their lives. Men hurt and feel pain when they cannot be with their kids. To suggest otherwise is not only insulting to men, it’s a bold-faced lie.
Society routinely degrades fathers. Men are typically depicted by Hollywood as inadequate and useless beings who are nothing more than comedic props."

Column here. Excerpt:
"A week before Father's Day, cartoonist Berkeley Breathed did a very cartoonist thing and caused a controversy to be stirred over a comic strip that seemed to slight fathers while celebrating lesbian moms.
...
But here's the biggest truth of all: Men and fathers have been on the receiving end of a male-bashing trend for the past 20 years or so, and they've had enough. Breathed's comic strip might have faded into the ethers if it didn't cut so close to the bone, if it weren't one more insult added to a history that long ago ceased to amuse."

Another fluff news piece on msnbc.com shows why Mother’s Day is still the big cash cow holiday for buying gifts, while Father’s Day is a sorry loss leader for retailers. Excerpt:
“In a recent survey by the National Retail Federation, Americans spent $16 billion on Mother’s Day this year, but only plan on spending $9.9 billion on Father’s Day, which falls on June 17. Fathers and Families Executive Director Don Hogan says the discrepancy is just more proof that dads are overworked and underappreciated. “It seems that society places a greater value on mothers than fathers,” he says."
Ironically, it's suspected that of the $9.9 billion spent on Father's Day gifts, men earned $9.8 billion of that money and handed it over to their wives, kids, and girlfriends, who then bought them a $2.98 Hallmark card and spent the balance on themselves!
Funny that the word "misandry" is not used in this report. And, Kim Gandy, where's your N.O.W. editorial on the vile sexist "gift gap?"

"Fathers say they want to spend more time with their kids, but are stuck working. Day-to-day demands -- and middle managers -- trump much ballyhooed work/life policies and paternity leaves, experts say."
...
However, the majority of working dads (59 percent) would not take paternity leave if it were offered, according to the latest Workplace Insights survey by Adecco USA.
Reasons cited included fear it would harm their careers (31 percent); being too busy at work to be away for an extended period of time (28 percent); and being depended on too much by co-workers and clients (28 percent).
