Joint Custody to be the Norm in Italy

Marc A. writes "The Italian Senate just approved a new law that will make joint custody the norm in Italy. Excerpt:
"The legislation makes joint custody of children the norm when parents split up. This means single-parent custody - which usually goes to the mother - will now only be granted in a minority of cases."
Some fathers' rights groups, however, point out that the bill is too watered down."
