Interesting take... comments?
Matt writes "Hmm, saw this editorial and thought it was an interesting take on things. I don't agree with the presumptions underlying the author's opinions; for example, I see the loss in mnfg. jobs here in the US as being less the result exclusively of current or past Rep'n admin'n policies and more the result of the lack of protection for men vs. discrimination/the all-out blitz vs. men in the workplace on-going since the 70s (the numbers of men 'downsized' or not hired at all or promoted when best-suited for a position because they were men and/or white at this point numbers in the millions of such instances), as well as the rush toward "free trade" -- which is something both major parties have been, no pun intended, a substantial and key party to over the last 30+ years. Still, I am sure such an article will illicit comments and observations from this crowd. :) So, fire away, lads!"
