'Canadian psychologist Prof. Jordan Peterson shared his views on a University of Wisconsin-Whitewater professor's argument that “toxic masculinity” should be taught to children as early as kindergarten.

Kathleen Elliott argues in an issue of "On The Horizon," an academic journal, that there are "consequences of simplified, toxic forms of masculinity in schools and society."

Campus Reform reported that Elliott wrote that the media promotes “aspects of toxic masculinity such as physical strength, dominance, and heterosexual prowess.”

Peterson said that "you'd have to be a fool" to teach young children such a concept.

'THE WORLD HAS recently become more terrifyingly aware of incels, which, if you don’t already know, stands for “involuntary celibate.” It’s an underground coalition of mainly men who complain about how society actively and unfairly deprives them of sex, often, they say, because they are too ugly or too fat.

Incels are usually conspiracy theorists, not victims, who believe the world is purposely denying them their fundamental right to sex on demand—and who share many values and tactics with white supremacist, men’s rights, and alt-right groups. The meeting was intended to discuss data presented to MK Nachman Shai (Zionist Union) showing about 70% of cases against men accused of domestic violence close without trial.

Police and prosecution representatives explained the reasons for closing or not closing a case are professional and based on preponderance of evidence, witnesses, etc. The Committee Chair did not accept the statements and claimed a decline in the domestic violence prosecution rate, warning that if the trend continues, women might be afraid to complain.

The Master’s Program in Masculinities will be a 30-credit online program offered through the school’s Center for the Study of Men and Masculinities, which aims to “disseminate research that redefines gender relations to foster greater social justice.”

The center counts feminist icons such as Gloria Steinem, Eve Ensler, and Jane Fonda among its Board of Directors, and it is led by Michael Kimmel, a feminist academic who most recently wrote a book on “angry white men” suffering from “aggrieved entitlement.”
