Never before in American have we witnessed such an open assault on the Due Process protections found in the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments to the Constitution.

To date, literally THOUSANDS of persons have submitted Comments to the Department of Education saying we need to keep the current Kangaroo Courts!

Either we tell the Department of Education to move forward with its proposed Title IX regulations, or we concede the issue to the purveyors of Mob Rule.

SAVE has put together a package of information with a Comments Template, links to other thoughtful comments, and the link where to submit your comments: http://www.saveservices.org/sexual-assault/restore-fairness

Bottom line, the deadline to submit your comment is this Wednesday at 11:59pm.

Sincerely,

Bills target changes to Title IX hearings

Article here. Excerpt:

'A bill introduced in both houses of the state legislature last week would make Title IX investigations at Missouri’s colleges and universities more like legal proceedings.

Senate Education Committee Chairman Gary Romine, R-Farmington, and House Higher Education Committee Chairman Dean Dohrman, R-La Monte, are sponsoring legislation requiring due process in Title IX investigations.

It would guarantee all students the right to representation by an attorney in a Title IX case and allow students to request a review of adherence to due process rules by the state’s Administrative Hearing Commission.

The commission oversees the application of state regulations and makes decisions “in cases involving a state agency and private citizen,” according to its website.'

Feminist: Sexbots Could Make Men Obsolete, And It's A Good Thing

Article here. Excerpt:

'A feminist at Bloomberg welcomes the coming sexbot revolution, claiming that men should be the ones worried about becoming obsolete in the bedroom, not women.

"Advances in robotics and artificial intelligence have raised a dystopian concern for women: What if female robots become so realistic — and so adept at sex — that they render men incapable of engaging in real human relationship," writes Cathy O'Neil. "Actually, I think it’s the men who should be worried. It’s entirely possible that robots can outperform them."

Toxic femininity: ‘Badass’ US women demand right to torture and kill for Empire… just like men

Article here. Excerpt:

Thanks to a new wave of feminism and its call for equality, it isn’t just toxic men who can kill, torture and surveil in the name of US militarism and empire, women can now do it too!

This past weekend was the third annual Women’s March, which is a protest originally triggered by Donald Trump’s defeat of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election that encourages women across America to rise up against misogyny and patriarchy.

Prager: American Psychological Association Has Made Choosing A Therapist Easy

Article here. Excerpt:

'The American Psychological Association has, in its words, issued "its first-ever guidelines for practice with men and boys." These guidelines "draw on more than 40 years of research showing that traditional masculinity is psychologically harmful and that socializing boys to suppress their emotions causes damage."

Three observations:

1) The last thing American males need today is less masculinity.

If you need proof, ask women who are looking for a husband whether the men they date exhibit too much masculinity, too little masculinity or just the right amount. I have talked to hundreds of women on my radio show (every week I have a "Male/Female Hour"), at speeches and in private who are dating to find a spouse. Not one has said men today are too masculine. Virtually all of them have said men today lack masculinity.

“Toxic masculinity” in advertising: keeping women scared and men shamed

Article here. Excerpt:

'Some students of human nature believe that, because our ancestors could only survive as a species human through a constant awareness of danger, we are endowed with an inherent need to be in a “state of fear” about something or other, even if the objective danger is neither existential nor widespread. It’s certainly true that political movements often encourage a state of fear to enhance their image of indispensability.

Feminism is the reigning orthodoxy of our era, and for feminists, men (almost invariably white heterosexual men) are a favourite target for fear mongering.  Short film/ads make excellent promotional vehicles for ideas and attitudes. I wrote about the now-infamous, feminism-inspired Gillette short film in these pages last week, a semi-humorous riff on the corporate cynicism behind its conception. But I knew my off-the-cuff riposte had not really addressed my deeper concerns about it, so the film continued to nag at me.'

University of Texas Student Says Gyms Are Too ‘Masculine,’ Proposes Women-Only Gym

Article here. Excerpt:

'University of Texas at Austin student Sanika Nayak argued that men make gym facilities uncomfortable for women. As a result of this predicament, Nayak proposes that the University of Texas should divide the gym into protected sections, so that female students can feel more comfortable when they are exercising.

"The gym is always so crowded, and there’s always more guys there, especially in the free weights room,” one University of Texas student said in a comment for Nayak’s column. “A lot of times, girls can feel intimidated to go in there and grab some weights, as weightlifting is seen as a thing men do even though it’s important for women to do also.”

"Often women feel that if they go to the gym in leggings and a sports bra, people are just going to be looking at the way (they’re) dressed,” the student added. “That can be a really uncomfortable situation — when you’re just trying to work out but men around you could be focused on something else.”

Woman who slashed fiance with samurai sword cries in court

Article here. Excerpt:

'The ex-girlfriend of disgraced pol Hiram Monserrate took another stab at crying in Queens court Friday as jury deliberations began in her samurai-sword case.

It was the second teary day in court for Karla Barba, who is facing up to 25 years prison for a bloody 2016 fight with her fiance in the Jackson Heights home they share with their 4-year-old daughter, Mia.

Barba had burst into tears Thursday on the witness stand, where she claimed that “accidents happen.”
...
Her lawyer then began closing arguments, telling jurors again that the pair love each other and that Barba never meant to seriously injure Larrea when she lunged at him, decorative sword in hand, during a domestic dispute.

“She did not unsheathe the sword,” said lawyer Stacey Richman. “It came undone itself” as she swung it a second time.

“This was a crazy, unfortunate accident,” Richman told jurors. “But it wasn’t a crime.”

Man booted from school board meeting for naming teacher who called Covington boys 'Hitler Youth'

Article here. Excerpt:

'A man was escorted out of a Colorado school board meeting Thursday for naming a teacher who called the wrong Covington Catholic boy part of the “Hitler Youth” on a now-deleted Twitter account.

Mountain Ridge Middle School seventh-grade history teacher Michelle Grissom allegedly named and posted a picture of Covington Catholic student Jay Jackson as one of the boys wearing Make America Great Again (MAGA) hats in Washington, D.C. Jackson was not in Washington with his peers, who were confronted by American Indian activist Nathan Phillips.

“I can’t imagine what drove a teacher to make comments online that were hateful and bigoted, slanderous and vilifying,” parent Aaron Johnson said Thursday. “Now we’re all left picking up the pieces she broke.”

Johnson elaborated to The Daily Caller News Foundation over the phone that Grissom’s actions makes the entire school community look bad.'

'The R&B singer Chris Brown filed a false accusation complaint in Paris on Thursday against a woman who accused him of rape last week.

On Tuesday, Mr. Brown was released without charge following questioning by the Paris police over an allegation that he raped a woman at a hotel in the city.

The one-page complaint, submitted by Raphael Chiche, Mr. Brown’s lawyer, asks the Paris Public Prosecutor’s office to investigate the claim as a criminal matter. The charge carries a penalty of five years in prison and a fine of around $50,000. Mr. Chiche did not respond to a request for further comment.'

The Level of Violent Imagery Directed Against Covington High Boys Is Dangerous and Wrong

Article here. Excerpt:

'People are entitled to disagree, but what is completely unacceptable is the level of violent imagery directed at kids by adults. The respected journalist Reza Aslantweeted “Honest question. Have you ever seen a more punchable face than this kid’s?” A writer for Saturday Night Liveoffered oral sex for anyone who managed to punch one of the kids in the face. Trevor Noah let these school kids know that not only did “everyone” want to punch these boys out, but he did too. The list goes on and on.

Alyssa Milano to Covington boys: 'Sorry not sorry'

Article here. Excerpt:

'Alyssa Milano refused to apologize Wednesday for comparing the pro-President Trump hats worn by the Covington Catholic High School boys to Ku Klux Klan hoods.

The actress and liberal activist penned an op-ed for The Wrap responding to the torrent of backlash she received for tweeting over the weekend, “The red MAGA hat is the new white hood.”
...
But not Ms. Milano. She argued the hats the boys were wearing were “synonymous with white nationalism and racism” and that the boys were in Washington “protesting against a woman’s right to reproductive freedom.”

“When I saw that video, I saw boys flaunting their entitlement and displaying toxic masculinity,” she wrote. “It seemed to me like they were reflecting the white nationalism and racism that the hats on their heads have come to represent.”'
