'A three-year-old video of rapper Cardi B on Instagram Live recently resurfaced online where the artist admits that she used to drug and rob men whom she would lure to a hotel room with the promise of sex. One woman noted that Cardi B’s admission would be headline news if she were a man. "Why isn’t anyone talking about [Cardi B] and her drugging men then robbing them," she wrote. "Like if this were a man for example… this would be a different story."'

Yes indeed. My guess is she had a drug habit to feed and couldn't make enough money turning tricks so she just went straight to robbery.

Like a lot of people who used to use drugs, she rationalizes what she used to do to get the money to buy them. "The addiction" becomes the excuse to do anything. Actual recovery if pursued forces a person to accept no excuses for their behavior. Any shame you feel over it, you have to reconcile yourself to and just admit you done did people wrong.

My guess is she quit drugs but never actually went into recovery. Alas thus her chances of going back to using are high.

That she was victimizing men who signed up for a paid fuck and nothing more is however especially easy for her to do. But I have little doubt that had she been doing this to gay women looking to fuck a hot chick for pay, she'd say the same thing.
