I read some research recently that stated that the reason women love talking continuously on their cell phones is because talking releases the same brain chemicals as does having an orgasm.

So the next time you see a female yakking away on her cell while driving, just realize she's engaging in a little pleasurable auto-eroticism.

Yet another psychologist and his "theories". So, I am to assume the researchers somehow hooked up a device to some guys, which somehow measured the dopamine level in their brains while they were driving around looking for some place? I'll be darned if I myself would wear such an invasive device for any more than a day or two - especially while driving. If the cops pulled me over for some reason, they'd probably think it was a heroin I.V. and arrest me.

The psychologist in this case is a dunce. The reason men don't ask for directions is because they are more self-confident and self-sufficient than women. Period.

If the focus is about achievement, a man will only ask for instructions as a last resort.

If the focus is about efficiency, a man will definitely ask for instructions -- sometimes more than once.

I've seen that at work (I.T.). If you impress upon people that they must be efficient, they'll ask for help early in the process. Who cares about losing face when you're going to lose more for being inefficient?

I wonder if there is a directions double-bind with a woman in the car. If you ask for directions, you're inadequate. If you don't and you take too long, you're inadequate.

That's another reason not to pick up female hitch-hikers. And to never drive with any woman in your car. And to not have anything at all to do with women.

I wouldn't pick up female hitch-hikers -- way too dangerous.

In circumstances where I'm driving with a female passenger, she gets to read the map and give directions. And I memorize the important points of the map before starting the car as well...
