Teacher has class vote "disgusting, annoying" mentally-handicapped boy out of class

Evidently, the politically correct concept of "tolerance" doesn't apply when it's a male being treated intolerantly.

That is outrageous. This teacher should be fired and I hope that the victim's family sues both the teacher and the school district.

If this had been my child, I would be pursuing a lawsuit against both the teacher and the district while also trying to get the teacher fired and having her teaching certification revoked.

I guess I'd be tempted to march into the classroom with the principal and demand (in a loud, angry voice) to know what happened and then tell the teacher that I'm suing her and the district in front of the kids, but the attorney in me says that it would be better to lay low for a while and appear "cooperative" while obtaining testimony and gathering facts before dropping the bomb. I'm getting worked up just thinking about it.

I hope that the poor boy is OK. Since he suffers from Asperger's, a horrible affliction which is a form of very high functioning autism, he's going to face tremendous hurdles even if he has a high IQ, takes the most difficult and advanced classes, and earns straight A's in all of them. He might graduate from a prestigious college or professional program and be unable to find a worthwhile job (and possibly lose the value of his college education) as a result of interviewing difficulties. My heart goes out to the little guy for having had to suffer through this traumatic experience and for all that he might suffer in the future.

That's the whole point of P.C.

Political correctness applies to ONLY about 3 groups of Americans; Blacks, Women and Homosexuals. (no offence to any of those "groups")
See when the P.C. crowd speaks of "Tolerance", It is a Code word for tolerance of "Blacks, women, and gays". Period. The rest of us can just go to hell. ESPESCIALLY if you are; a MAN (of any race, but particularly "White"), A Christian, a Fat person, Republican or Independent, American Asian, American Indian, a Virgin (ESPECIALLY male virgin) etc. For these people, the name of the game is INTOLERANCE.
They don't tell you THAT little detail.

The issues of any one not a Black, Gay or female, are totally ignored. while we are beaten over the head with the issues of the fore mentioned 3 "groups"

Note: Black MEN are still victims of racism AND sexism in the media. I have noticed that frequently if a Black male is shot by another Black male, it is often referred to in the media as; "Gang related". In doing some research on this I found that it is STILL reported as such even if the victim is NOT, I repeat, NOT a member of a gang, rival or otherwise. That is both racist AND sexist.

So anyway, if you want to learn about political "correctness", I recommend the book "ANIMAL FARM" by George Orwell.

Political "correctness" is summed up by the writing on the barn door;

"ALL ANIMALS ARE CREATED EQUAL."

But later, underneath that, the Pigs write;

"...BUT SOME ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS..."

Mental injury means an injury to the intellectual or psychological capacity of a child as evidenced by a discernible and substantial impairment in the ability to function within the normal range of performance and behavior.

I kinda think this qualifies. Unless there's a hidden rule that the abuser has to be male.
