New York Times: Girls’ Gains Have Not Cost Boys, Report Says

Article here. Excerpt:

'The American Association of University Women, whose 1992 report on how girls are shortchanged in the classroom caused a national debate over gender equity, has turned its attention to debunking the idea of a “boys’ crisis.”

“Girls’ gains have not come at boys’ expense,” says a new report by the group, to be released on Tuesday in Washington.
...
“Many people remain uncomfortable with the educational and professional advances of girls and women, especially when they threaten to outdistance their male peers,” the report says , citing Christina Hoff Sommers’s 2000 book, “The War Against Boys: How Misguided Feminism is Harming Our Young Men.”'

What a shock. A feminist group manipulates statistics to support their anti-male agenda. The sad thing is this report will probably be taken very seriously by our feminized education system.

It really makes me sick when I hear feminists claim equality when in reality their goal is superiority.

They love this education gap and will do anything to continue the 'war against boys'. A war that I'm more than prepared to fight until people open their eyes.

If you visit the AAUW web site you will not see any interest expressed in the well-being of boys -- everything they advocate is exclusively for girls and women.

AAUW's brand of feminism is cut from the same cloth as NOW -- extreme anti-male gynocentrism.

In their report they pull a cute "bait and switch" tactic by arguing that there is no boy crisis in education because "men still make more in the workplace than women."

That is disingenuous at best and a downright attempt to mislead at worst.

I have never seen anything come out from AAUW that was not driven by ideological gender feminism.

This is the same group that issued the report in the early 90s that girls were having a "self esteem" crisis and were "losing themselves" in their early teens.

The US Congress immediately rushed all kinds of programs into place in our public schools and these remain in place today.

The report issued by the AAUW was later found to be misleading, inaccurate, it was not peer reviewed, and there was no data substantiating their claims. There was no "self esteem crisis"!!

In the mean time, they established girls behavior as the base desired behavior in our schools. Boys are now, not judged against other boys, but their behavior is judged against that of girls. Is it any wonder we are now raising effeminate wimps and pussies?

The AAUW is a political group advocating against the well being of boys. Their reports are good for one thing. Toilet paper.

Thankfully there are at least a few objective journalists out there.
