Freedom for woman who kept trying to kill disabled husband

Story here. Excerpt:

'A woman who tried repeatedly to kill her disabled husband was spared a prison sentence after a court accepted that she had been unable to cope with the strain of caring for him.

Shirley Watts, 61, first tried to strangle her husband, Michael, with a dressing gown cord on Christmas Day last year. Over the following three days she put a pillow over his face, held his head under water in the bath and put a running shower hose into his mouth.'

Notice that not only did she NOT apologize for her viciously cruel actions, she also continued attempting to murder him after she called the police. She knew it was wrong, she did it anyway and asked for her punishment. So why the hell didn't she get her punishment?

Oh, right, she is a female. I forgot.

This article is disgusting. "Sentencing her to 100 hours’ community service, the judge said he was satisfied that the attacks were a 'cry for help' and not a serious attempt to kill her husband."

Violence is violence. I don't think we'll ever see the day where women like this serve the time they deserve.

A man who has to care for his disabled wife one day snaps and tries to kill her more than once. What would happen? He would get at least a decade in prison. This is just another testament to the inequality in the justice system.

The article doesn't say whether she will be going back home to "take care of" her husband after this episode of attempted murder.

I'll bet her husband will be really comfortable living with the women who tried to kill him.

Just looking at the constant reports like this; "woman attempts to, or succeeds murdering her husband, or a man, in general" there is a VERY disturbing trend in this "country" A Human rights abuse that we as a "nation" would NEVER tolerate in other countries.
In the face of such madness it is UTTERLY unbelievable that the AmeriKKan man is not simply outraged.
Will it take a Los Angeles style riot to end this insanity?

Apparently In AmeriKKa Men are the Rodney King gender and women are the 007 gender. "licensed to kill" (men).

Huoy...!

Thundercloud.

Ladies, remember; you can't preach EQUALITY while claiming SUPERIORITY. Dig?

This kind of so called reasoning by these pandering judges happens all the time. From murder, to women raping boys and other major crimes, where the sentence amounts to nothing more then a slap on the hand.To be fair these kind of light sentinces have been given to men too,for serious crimes committed, but not nearly as often as given to women, which seems like all the time. The simple truth is the sentence of women by the courts is a mere fraction what the sentence is to men for committing the same kind of crime. In fact the courts are all to willing to except the defence that the woman is the victim rather then the offender.
