Woman sentenced in Redmond for false rape accusation

"A woman who made a false rape accusation against a college professor pleaded guilty in King County District Court in Redmond to making false statements.

The judge sentenced 22-year-old Katherine Clifton on Tuesday to eight days in jail and ordered her to pay the professor's attorney fees. The former Woodinville woman now lives Ellensburg.

Judge Peter Nault says her case will make it harder for real victims to seek help.

The professor spent nine days in jail and was suspended from his job during the rape investigation."

She should be sentenced to the same time the man would have gotten if he was found "guilty" of the rape.

So, the innocent man spent more time behind jail than the accuser who was sentenced for that false report? Sounds like justice to me. [/sarcasm]

At least they are not letting them off free. But, eight days for a crime that can destroy a man's career, family life, and hard-earned reputation, plus put him behind bars for decades, is NOT justice.

Digital_dreamer took the words right out of my mouth. He was punished more severely for a crime he didn't commit, than she was for one she did! This double standard in the justice system really grinds my gears. I think women who falsely accuse men of rape should get at least 5 years.

At least it was "some" jail time.

Women make false allegations with little to no repercussions since women don't mind lying to get their way(and men just can't get rid of that chivalrous bug they have).

I actually think it's funny; because men refuse to demand that:

1. Women grow up and stop lying to get their way.

2. That hard proof be presented before any kind of "justice" is dispensed.

3. Women stop thinking they should get things for free; simply because they are women.

4. Demand equality in the pro-female system instead of playing "nice" and just asking for it.

Women refuse to:

1. Grow up and stop lying.

2. Respect and love men rather than using them to get their way.

3. Get a job and keep one rather than making whoring their career.

4. Demand that hard proof be presented before any kind of "justice" is dispensed.

Until then men will argue back and forth over nothing like what occurs here daily.
