MSM Alert: 20/20 Friday March 14: 'Double Standard When It Comes to Underage Sex?'
Story here. Excerpt:
'Movies and television often portray having sex with an older woman as an exciting conquest. The Comedy Central show "South Park" shows police officers impressed that an elementary school student slept with an attractive teacher. One cop jokes to the another, "The crime is she isn't doing it with me!"
...
There are differences between men and women, but is there something about that difference that makes it less serious when a woman sleeps with a younger boy? Studies do show that most teenage boys who had sex with older women say that the sex was voluntary and the experience positive.
...
Regardless of what science or popular opinion say, the law makes no distinctions. When adult woman are caught having sex with younger boys, they are usually punished just as severely, sometimes more severely than men.'
Check your local listings for broadcast on ABC, 10:00 PM, US Eastern Time.

Hope the show is better than the article
Got to page 3 and it became a lap-dog piece for manholes and fem-bots. The last para. in the excerpt was at the top of the third page and it only gets worse. The rest of it:
'While LaFave got house arrest and probation, Geisel went to prison and Rogers is in prison now. And most likely all of these women will be on the sex offender registry for the rest of their lives.
And the most famous female teacher who had sex with a student, Mary Kay Letourneau, served seven years in jail.
Yet in a perfect illustration of how our laws and our culture are out of sync, when Letourneau married the boy after she got out of prison, the media treated it like a Hollywood wedding, gushing over the groom's Armani tux and the bride's white Christina Couture gown.
Not the ending you expect for what the court called an "egregious" and "profoundly disturbing" case of second-degree statutory rape.'
That's how the article ends and I have a feeling that is how the show tonight will end too. 20/20 loves this bait and switch stuff. They're all about pushing the boundaries all right-- as long as it's OK with their feminist masters.
Is Anyone recording this.....
and or planing to post it on youtube, because i was recording to posted there myself before my dvd recorder stopped way prematurely there
Regardless of what science

This has got to be a misquote!
Give me one example of a man who after raping a 13 yo. though the sex was consensual got put on house arrest like the teacher Debra Lafave in Florida.
It can be traced back to "The Graduate"
In which Dustin Hoffman played a bluthering young college-age idiot virgin, seduced by what's-her- face (was it Anne Bancroft?). And as a kicker, what's-her-face was his fiancee's mother (I am referring to the characters, not real life, of course).
Oh well, it was realistic in a sense - the older lady was portrayed basically as evil and manipulative.

Saw most of it...
... and glad to say I didn't see the Page 3 stuff. Maybe it was there but missed it, but overall, this is a big PLUS for the social justice-awareness side of things. FINALLY 20/20 decides to actually take some real chances by telling the real story!
Good catch, Luek.
I also noticed that quote, and I kind of laughed to myself. That's one of the most erroneus statements I've ever seen. Well, at least 20/20 decided to spread some awareness of the double standards that exist in the justice system. Sexual based offences are a prime example. Hopefully, this type of thing will appear more and more in the MSM.
