District Attorney's office files formal charges against mother

Story here. Excerpt:

"Three days following the death of seven-month-old Jillian Engelman, the Fresno County District Attorney's office files formal charges on her mother, Lisa May Brown...

Brown is now facing one count of murder and one count of child abuse, causing death.

Both counts carry a minimum sentence of 25 years to life.

According to the search warrant served to brown on Monday, Brown told officials that she drowned the baby because it was possessed by demons and that the devil told her to do it.
...
Hickey says, "More often than not, women who kill their babies like this usually suffer from some form of mental illness."

Hickey says this case reminds him of Texas mother, Andrea Yates, who, back in 2001, was charged with drowning all five of her children in a bathtub.

Hickey says, "It's not uncommon for someone to come down with postpartum blues, have very deep depression, have deep psychotic breaks, have hallucinations, hear voices sometimes."

Hickey is just projecting the now formulaic chicken shit response to child mortality caused by the maternal caretaker. Playing the "postpartum blues" card will more than likely get this child killer off with no conviction due to TEMPORARY insanity. Two years at a state psychiatric facility; declared "cured" and she is out with no criminal record.

This ex-mom has all her alibis lined up perfectly in what will come to be known as the 3-D's Defense: Daddy, Drugs, Devil!

1) Absent deadbeat baby-daddy left her financially strapped and emotionally distressed.

2) Drug abuse - she was using meth, pot, and Paxil.Of course, she did not choose to abuse drugs - she was victimized by evil dealers and pharmacists.

3) The Devil - an evil imaginary fallen angel told her to kill her baby.

Ever notice how when a deranged female commits homicide there is a long list of evil MALE perpetrators motivating her towards crime?

How come no whack-job murderess ever says -
"The Great Divine Goddess Mother told me to kill my baby, and my coke-whore girlfriend got me hooked, and I poked holes in my boyfriend's condoms so I could get pregnant?"

How come that's never the story?

I went through a period several years ago when I suffered from severe depression. It was so bad I was prescribed several psych-tropic medications. My point is this. I never, ever hurt anyone else. I never even thought about it. Thankfully I've overcome my depression, but they're are no excuses to take another life because of mental illness. I realize as a man I'm held to a higher level of accountability in regards to my actions but that has nothing to do with my ability to distinguish right from wrong.

And I've never hurt anybody. I currently take Prozac to deal with this condition. I think people who actually make ridiculous excuses like this for killing their own children are a true waste of flesh. What was God thinking? I guess that he would give someone free will even if they were to abuse it. Women are guilty of abusing this free will all the time, and society is guilty of not holding them accountable for their actions, simply for the fact that they have no Y chromosome. What a load!

If anybody hereabouts would choose to start a thread about male depression, I'd be in.

And I commend the gentlemen who have stated that they have experienced it (depression).

Of course (ya'll know I always have an ulterior motive...) --

My theory is that depression is a man's very next-to-last response to surrendering to being defined as a commodity in a feminist culture.

So, IMHO, depression is your masculine soul telling you that you have arrived at the Crossroads.

(For the unschooled -- Google Robert Johnson blues musician...)

How could any sane man not be depressed in America today?

Well, that's my abbrieviated rant.

Please criticize, condemn, or interpret within your personal frame of reference.

It's all good.

Its been helpful for me. MANN provides a link. I know how depression feels and its difficult to overcome. The hopelessness and loneliness can be brutal. I slept all day, rarely ate and had daily panic attacks. I actually left college for one semester. Fortunatley things are much better and I'm sure things will also improve for you.

I wish you the best.

Well, my main point was that men now inhabit a feminist cutlure that virtually guarantees male depression as a completely adaptive response.

In our current dilemma, a non-depressed man is an idiot, right?

He has no clue where he is or how he has been cultivated to be a wage-slave.

But then again...

It is possible that he fully knows what he is, and has accepted it, yes?

Either way?

Women win.

Its certainly a logical statement.

Lilith - The true first woman (Eve was the fourth or fifth woman God made) created at the same time as Adam (yes Adam was married twice before Eve) decided she did not like the rules in Paradise and became a boy raping (yup, the very first child molester was a woman) baby murdering (Lilith was given dominion over all human infants by God and when she got pissed she started murdering them) husband seducing (Yup Lilith was also the first seductress who took great pleasure in stealing young men away from their wives only to kill them) succubus demon commonly depicted as a night walker in the company of owls.

I think most of Lilith's daughters (as she is said to be able to produce 100 demon daughters per day) are the women of the Western world today. Demon succubus' out to rape an destroy all of God's creation

Lilith had many many many daughters according to the tales and Lilith's tale pre-dates the Tora (Old Testament), so I suppose people for many thousands of years have had a concept of woman having a capacity for pure evil. There are many ancient statues and paintings of her depicted with two owls at her side that are much older then the story of Genesis which she was for the most part left out of though there are about half a dozen references to her throughout the Tora.
