UK: Nurseries are told playing with toy guns is good for boys

I find this to be very encouraging news. Someone is actually looking at how certain interactions ACTUALLY affect boys, and not just making assumptions based off of some notion of political correctness. Article here.

'Playing with toy weapons helps the development of young boys, according to new Government advice to nurseries and playgroups.

Staff have been told they must resist their "natural instinct" to stop boys using pretend weapons such as guns or light sabres in games with other toddlers.

Fantasy play involving weapons and superheroes allows healthy and safe risk-taking and can also make learning more appealing, says the guidance.'

Why wouldn't playing with toy weapons be good for a young boy? My nephew and I are always playing games where I'm the bad guy and he's the superhero, and usually a toy gun, or sword is invovled. He's the happiest child I know. That's a good sign that he's healthy mentally.

Remember playing cops and robers growing up? I do! Our generation didn't grow up really shooting people did we? Also, the video games out now are all about shooting and killing but that's ok...playing with toy guns is not? What's the differance? It's about time. But really, does it take a "study" to have to figure that out? Come on!

The British government speaks with forked tongue. Just look at this:

Now try to square that with the above report.

This "gender equality duty" is the latest attempt by our feminised leaders to brainwash us and enforce politically correct actions on the entire country in every walk of life. It will of course be interpreted exclusively as a one-way street, requiring males to stop acting in accordance with their natures and start doing exactly what feminists want them to do; while women will be able to carry on with their sexist practices just as before.

When will they ever learn that you cannot legislate human behaviour?
