A Rich Dilemma: To Nup or Not Pre-nup?

Article here. As Google co-founder and Chief Executive Larry Page (net worth $20 billion) prepares to walk down the aisle today, attorneys familiar with billionaire marriages urge their clients to proceed with care and caution. Excerpt:
'"A billionaire has to treat an upcoming marriage as a merger. But it's a merger with a potential enemy," says New York divorce lawyer Raoul Felder. Prenuptial agreements are important, but they're no guarantee of a satisfactory split if things go south. Consider the divorce of Steven Spielberg and his first wife Amy Irving. She claimed their prenup was invalid because it had been written on a napkin and she hadn't had legal representation. A judge tossed it out; Irving got $100 million.'

Marriage is such a joke in
Marriage is such a joke in this country. You're screwed no matter what you do.
till death do us part
or, whenever i can get out and take it with me.
makes a person proud to be from a country where a man with means is a target. use old concepts like marriage, pervert it, and get every man around to buy in, at no end to cost.
wonder how much of this type destruction of real marriage is not just driven by women's greed, but by the lack of judicial ethics and greed from the lawyers and judges. kind of a double team to get the $$$$. honor... oh yes, in BIZARRO world.
yep, makes me proud.
i heard it the other day and i have to agree. what can this man possibly be getting from this so called marriage that he doesn't already have or need, except trouble. a wedding rind doesn't make a marriage.
20 Billion???
If this guy is so damned smart why is he getting married?
A fool and his money are SOON parted.
I give it three years max.
But... but...
But Luek... she's different!

Isn't that what they all say?
He might as well say he is only worth 10 billion because she is going to take half when she leaves him. Actually he may end up being worth less if she gets pregnant by him and she claims she wants "child support" in addition to half his fortune, the cars, and the house.
