Charges won't be filed against mom who left child in hot car

On what planet are men treated less severely in cases of child abuse/endangerment then women? It certainly isn't this one!

Not only are FEMALES the leading perpetrators of child abuse, men are stripped of their children at the slightest hint of child abuse.

This Sickening excuse for a human being was WARNED TWICE previously and had done this same thing at least THREE times prior to MURDERING HER DAUGHTER and she's not even charged and still has complete custody of her other child. She didn't lose her job, and is not quitting or cutting back on her job to reduce her stress level either. Just, oh well you killed one, hope ya don't do it again, have a nice day.

I love how Meredeth conveniently left out the fact that she had been warned before and had done that to her little girl MANY TIMES before. She instead chose to show the mother balling in the police station EXCLUSIVELY FOR HERSELF. Not one word about grief for her daughter. All, 'I am a bad person!", "I am incompetent", "Good mothers don't do this". "I want to die", "I can't handle this", "Just trying to be everything to everyone", I, I, I, I, I, I, fucking I...

Not one single word of love or grief, or empathy for her daughters suffering.

Crying only for herself.

Sickening! She's a cold hearted selfish murderer through and through, but even the arresting officer couldn't over come his male protective instinct to actually listen to the words coming out of her mouth and realize it was not remorse or sorrow for her daughter. It was pure FEMALE instinct of self preservation above all else.

But a dogs life is always more valuable then a mans. Just ask Michael Vick (not to condone what he did but he definitely paid a very high price).

Something smells very fishy here. This woman had left her daughter strapped in the car previously, and been warned about it. That should be enough for any normal person; you would take great care not to make that mistake again.

But then we have an extraordinary sequence of events. On Aug 21, she deliberately leaves the child in the car AGAIN for a short while. On Aug 22, she does exactly the same thing AGAIN. Then on Aug 23, comes the astonishing "forgetful" incident from which her daughter dies.

This goes way beyond mere carelessness or laziness. This woman was a serial abandoner of her vulnerable youngest child. That alone would mark her out as a danger to children.

I now have a horrifying image of a mother who found her youngest too much trouble to look after. Maybe she kept the child strapped in the car for long periods because that was the best way to keep her out of mom's hair. But it certainly looks to me that she first ran through a couple of rehearsals of how she was going to remove the nuisance from her life, before she delivered the killer blow. Did she plan to use those rehearsals - which she seems to have carefully drawn to the attention of the staff at the school - as her excuse at any trial? "I just have this habit of forgetting things; it has been getting worse and worse lately. The school staff will tell you. So feel sorry for me, I am a victim of the patriarchy and I have a vagina".

If so, she need not have bothered. It looks like the mere "I have a vagina" excuse was good enough to do the trick. AGAIN.

...accidental death.

Three trial runs would also let murdering mom know if her target for execution was dexterous enough to get out of the car seat. Even a toddler has a self preservation instinct and if it starts to get to hot is going to try her best to get out of the seat and out of the car. Three tests may have allowed mom to test her chosen method from several aspects as well as set up a potential mental illness alibi - which turned out not to be needed as her purely selfish tears were more then enough to trigger the male arresting officers chivalrous protective instinct who let her walk right out the front door with no charges at all.

I truly hope they do an autopsy on that child to determine if she was:

a) Dead before the car was ever parked and a staged heat stroke death was a cover for murder

or

b) Drugged so she did not wake up and struggle to escape the car

Since they did not charge her or impound the vehicle any evidence of murder that may be present there is likely lost forever. But to really get to the truth they should have confiscated the SUV to inspect for evidence.

It's so strange, mothers are the absolute most likely people on the planet to be responsible for the death of their child yet they are the absolute last on the list of people the police run through as suspects when a child dies. That fact alone allows murdering mommies to cover their tracks and destroy evidence while the police round up strangers on the local sex offender registry and look in every other direction imaginable besides moms.

I'm not saying this was not an accident because police incompetence in the investigation means we will never know if it wasn't.
