Ninfong apologizes to Duke Lacrosse players

Nifong knows he's in deep trouble now. After claiming for months he's, "done nothing wrong" now it appears he's racing to apologize after the NC attorney general cleared the three young men from the Duke Lacrosse team yesterday. This coward is shaking in his boots becuase he knows the lawsuit is coming from the innocent familys who lives he wrecked and he has no chance of winning it. Just rememeber Finnery, Evans and Seligmann: SORRY ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH! Excerpt:
'DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - The local prosecutor who charged three Duke lacrosse players with raping a stripper apologized to the athletes Thursday and said the North Carolina attorney general's decision to drop the case was right.
"To the extent that I made judgments that ultimately proved to be incorrect, I apologize to the three students that were wrongly accused," Durham County District Attorney Mike Nifong said.'

He's gonna blame it on Crystal Mangum, the accuser.
Nifong will say and do anything to try to save his own skin or to put himself in a more advantageous position. He's already proven that by prosecuting this case in the first place, allegedly to curry favor with black voters.
Now it looks like his strategy might be to blame it on Crystal Mangum, the false accuser. Yeah, sure, she deserves much of the blame, but come on, man! Nifong, you're an experienced prosecutor--you should know better than to take an accuser at her word and to not interview her as soon as possible after she's filed a complaint. If you were truly sorry, then why did you withold DNA evidence?
I hope that Nifong gets disbarred, that the state won't cover him in his lawsuit, that he faces state and federal claims, that he gets divorced, bankrupted, and hopefully, jailed for being a "rogue prosecutor".
By the way, take a look at the (supposedly) New York Post's front page...you can find it as the fifth post in this thread. If you've been following this case, it might put a smile on your face to see that a little bit of justice is being done--and by the media no less. Follow this link:
