From the article: A woman in America has been charged with assault and trespass after allegedly biting her boyfriend on the genitals while he slept.

Anyone know the legal definition of sexual assualt or sexual abuse in North Dakota? I think it would be unusual if this wouldn't qualify.

I see this as just another double standard being practiced where if the sexes were reversed the perp would be on a sex offender register for the rest of his life (if he ever got out of prison). My money says she'll either get a plea bargain to a minor infraction or charges will be dropped altogether.

That article is disgusting. If a man were to bite a womans genitals and send her to the hospital there would be no circumstances where anyone would be making light and writing jokingly about it.

He'd be called every pathology that news media writers could find in the DSM-IV that could be used to describe such a monster.

But a man's genitals are the object of humor and humiliation anyway and they are the reason he is less then human so it's all good if some completely psycho bitch potentially mutilates a mans genitalia even more then his parents may have when he was an infant.

this woman is a clear and present danger to men and should be locked up away from them for a few decades just as a man would if he did this to a woman.

I tried to search the North Dakota statutes but their web site seems to be down, all I get is an error when I try to access them.

In most states touching a woman on the breasts or buttocks without her consent can get you a sex crime charge (just ask Jake Plummer who paid off a woman he allegedly touched "inappropriately" at a night club soon after leaving ASU in order to avoid a sex charge).

The lesson is this: Touching a woman is a sex crime, sending a man to the hospital by assaulting his genitals is not.

...it sure is odd that this woman specifically targeted this mans sexual organs for her vicious attack yet she is not charged with a SEX crime. Hell, in most states touching is not required for a man to be charged with a sex crime. A look is enough.
