Story here. Excerpt:
"The number of male students is dwindling quickly enough that SPC recently created a support group, tentatively called Men on the Way.
Through tutoring, scholarship counseling and maybe even social outings, Men on the Way is aimed at increasing the college's male enrollment."

About SP College
I took a course at SPC last fall. The instructor was a nice lady, but she was so ill-prepared that when I first corrected her on something, somebody in the peanut gallery challenged me to teach the class myself..so I stood up and said, "where's the chalk?"; but then the teacher started to get upset so I sat back down. That was my second and last day of attendance in that class..my level of respect for that place is so low, I did not even drop the course formally, since I would never want them on a transcript anyway.
SPC is a disgrace to Florida, and a disgrace to men. Many of the students, and even instructors, are just above neanderthals, and the curriculum is not really college-level..it is more like going to a two-year college twice in a row. If I had a son I would not send him there. Better off to go to Florida State or U. of F., where they no doubt have low male enrollments too. Or if you want to train for a vocation, go to a quality tech. school, which SPC is also not.

P.S: their library sucks my dick too. They allow children to come in and use the computers to play video games, while other more serious students and adults are sitting at computers next to them, trying to get something accomplished. I have even seen security come in and throw out a couple of people - one was a kid who had already been banned from the campus, and the other was some guy who completely flipped out.
