"Never have fathers seemed so disposable, or so overlooked. A report out says 37 percent of all births in the United States last year were to unwed mothers. The figure is now at an all-time high, up a percentage point from last year.
But society does need to say something in defense of fatherhood. Long experience at dozens of honors banquets leads us to decisively say that children from traditional homes have advantages. Listen to an honors list, and you will be struck by how many winners come from those traditional mom and pop, Ozzie and Harriet homes.
The problem is particularly true for boys. A generation of boys has grown up without a father at home. The results have largely been disastrous. Men today constitute only 44 percent of college students. A boy is 30 percent more likely to drop out of school than a girl. A boy is three times as likely to be expelled from school as a girl. A boy is 10 percent more likely to skip school than a girl."

Be Careful What You Wish For
For all the single mothers who supported the Fem-Nazi movement (either directly or by silently cheering it on), congratulations, you are being rewarded with the true consequences; probably not what you anticipated. You were promised fame and fortune; you received single parenthood and welfare. You were promised liberation; you received dependence on the state.
And was the traditional family really all that bad? Didn’t the matriarch really control the house; having free reign over the furnishing, the routines, and the money? Now, as single parents, you must answer to your new master, the state! The state now controls your destiny; micromanaging your affairs, constantly hovering waiting for you to make a mistake.
Sure, there are exceptions; the handful of Fem-Nazi instigators who have profited on your backs. The lesbian ring-leaders who have devised an industry where few profit and many lose.
It's a shame that many, if not most, women (and many men) have been hoodwinked by the promises of the Fem-Nazis. Be careful what you wish for; you might get it!

Big Buisness has known for generations that human behavior can be modified by providing incentives and rewards for certain behaviors. Child Support, health care, child care, housing subsidies, food stamps, utility subsidies, and educational grants are all made available to "single mothers".

Traditional?
By now most here probably know that I'm against conservatism (though against blind progressivity, too) and I dislike that term. What's "traditional" about a child that has both parents around? I'd call it natural and common sense.
