NOW invites all NOW members and INTERESTED PERSONS to submit a workshop proposal for the 2007 National Conference. We will be gathering in Dearborn, Michigan at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, July 13-15, 2007.

Proposals will be reviewed and accepted if they are timely, inclusive and directly related to NOW's feminist issues...

Panelists and topics should reflect DIVERSE populations and perspectives and each workshop should incorporate the following components if possible:

A. The nuts and bolts of the issue/topic from a FEMINIST perspective - with a focus on current policy discussions or skill building."

“diversity" ... from a "feminist perspective”!

Anybody want to propose a workshop on “Why N.O.W. Is Then?”

As in O-V-E-R? (The average age of a N.O.W. member is a big secret, because they have almost ZERO members under age 50!)
