NYTimes: "Gender Pay Gap, Once Narrowing, Is Stuck in Place"

Article here.

Another article about the refuted wage gap. Typical "cherry picked" statistics that continue to manipulate society. I must be fair, some opinions in this article are generally more fair than typical wage gap articles. Excerpt:

"There is no proof that discrimination is the cause of the remaining pay gap, Ms. Blau said. It is possible that the average man, brought up to view himself the main breadwinner, is more committed to his job than the average woman."

"The other view is that women consider money a top priority less often than men do. Many may relish the chance to care for children or parents and prefer jobs, like those in the nonprofit sector, that allow them to influence other people’s lives."

Reality shows that they can decrease the testosterone level in men population (scientists say that this level in men dropped by 15% in last years). But the main problem for feminists is that they cannot increase T-level in women.

The "gender wage gap" is not about pay inequity as there is none. This is about the communist concept of comparable worth. I just call it "commie worth." Gender feminists want equality of outcome, where they (and all women) get paid equally with those who really "earn" their higher salaries.

Although the law of supply and demand is working fine, and all women (and men) are still earning what they are worth, women think they have special privilege to get something for nothing - literally.

Now that I'm getting older, I think I'll take a nice easy office job and then demand the same pay as a guy who pumps concrete for a living. I think it is time I started whining about the "wage gap" between healthy, strong young guys and old "over the hill" guys who need a breather after going to the bathroom.

The New York Times has outlived its relevancy as a credible news organization. It appears now to be nothing more than a mouth piece for the lunatic fringe.

Feminists modified the main communistic principle of distribution of wealth, which reads as:

"From each by ability; to each by need."

Feminist variant reads as:

"From each by ability; to each equally."

Russian Bolsheviks during the times of Red Terror, when they carried out expropriations of wealth from the rich, were following similar principles. From which follows that

FEMINISTS == BOLSHEVIKS

and

FEMINISM == RED TERROR

i've been in the technology game for 20 years.
no company has a pay gap. i've checked.
if ANY woman is paid less than a man, there is a reason for it.

she is unreliable, misses work often, won't work overtime, won't travel, or won't do special projects.

if she does all of the above, like a man, she will be paid, like a man.

there are laws against under paying people. if a woman is not getting paid what a man is getting paid, there is a reason why. and likely, this reason, is very well documented.

"The other view is that women consider money a top priority less often than men do."

I wonder if that is because women marry up, seeking to prey upon the highest salaried male they can extort via the golden pussy-power?

And men have no parallel choice to exploit and entrap a higher-earning female?

If I enjoyed an ATM machine in the form of a servile husband who understands that I can dial 911 anytime and destroy him, I would not be too concerned about money.

Once the money thing is resolved, women get to consider other "top" priorities...

Oh, and VAWA was a Republican-backed legislative victory.

"Largely without notice, however, one big group of women has stopped making progress: those with a four-year college degree. The gap between their pay and the pay of male college graduates has actually widened slightly since the mid-’90s."

Wasn't it just a couple of days ago that college women were taking over?

VAWA Passed Only Because Male Repubs Voted for Marxism!

A Marxist will sell you the law (VAWA) to destroy your family, your children, your life, and your country with. It's just what they do.

I work part time as an Outreach Counselor primarily dealing with mentally ill individuals who have housing issues. One of the required qualifications for both men and WOMEN is being able to lift 50lbs. The reason is because we deal with a food pantry (free food for the poor). We get numerous donations of canned food packaged in heavy boxes. My female co-workers are not expected to participate in the food pantry because of their inabilty or unwillingness to do some heavy lifting. Being the only male counselor, the food pantry is soley my responsibilty. On top of my other responsibilities, I generally have more work to do, yet I'm paid the same wage as my female co-workers. Equal work for equal pay??? Not in my case. Shouldn't I receive a higher wage based on the fact that I do more work??? I know the ansewer to my question, but unfortunately the system simply doesn't work that way.

"Oh, and VAWA was a Republican-backed legislative victory."

Women generally vote democrat, republicans are aware, and push initiatives (VAWA) to lure female voters. Unfortunately for Republicans, many men are sick of special privileges for women at the expense of men.

And getting sicker every day.

a man sick of special privileges for women at the expense of men #1

It went like this ---

"When the next-to-the-last Capitalist is hanged, the last one will be selling rope!"

Of course, you could make a case that the last one will proclaim his immaculate conversion and become a Bushivist neo- republican.

Now, those guys really understand how to apply Marxist economics!

This could possibly be due to the worthless degrees women are taking in greater numbers each year like Women's Studies. Seriously, what the hell can you do with that degree that is worth a high salary?

anthony, here's a thought if you want to have some fun: just tell your supervisor you've injured your back and can't lift any weight, and that this is likely to continue to be the case for some time. This will force the women being paid the same wages you are to do their share. I'm no lawyer, but it occurs to me that there's nothing fraudulent about it if you don't try to receive benefits (i.e. time off, an overall reduction in work duties, insurance, disability) for a condition that doesn't exist. Since you can't claim to be afflicted with a vagina as an excuse to avoid work, you simply need to be a little more "creative".

I understand, though, why someone in your line of work might be more interested in seeing that your clients/patients receive food and shelter than in pursuing fair treatment in the workplace. That's because you suffer from a condition observed almost exclusively in men: honor. Like chivalry, it's the reason we get drafted and the reason we put up with so much bullshit from the female of our species.

I've worked in several places as the only man, and I really do have a severe back problem. I'm always amused when it's just "expected" that I (and anyone else with Y chromosomes) is going to do all the lifting, moving, etc. Not this time, girls.
