England: Women are drinking more, and getting violent with it

What offspring can these alcoholic women produce? If the "artificial womb" reproductive technology is not legalized as soon as possible, the next generation of Western society will be composed of retards and imbeciles.

The two women in the article did not get very harsh sentences. The first one has been convicted 3 times and never spent a day in jail. She also does not seem to think of it as much of a problem as she gloats about a prior incident and does not see her violent alcohol induced rages being a hinderence to her career ambitions. Of course, it's also all her fathers fault anyway.

The second one got 18 months but served less then half and she cause irreparable damage and pain (both physical and emotional) and suffering (surgeries required for life) to her victim. No old 'eye for an eye' justice there that's for sure.

I noticed two hardened feminists in the commenter's attempting to call sexism on exposing women's poor behavior and redirecting back at men to make things "fair". To funny, because drunken men getting in fights has never been an acceptable behavior for society at large. Measures to handle drunken rowdy men have been in place in civilization for as long as there has been civilization. It's not talked about because it is not a new phenomenon. Women getting drunk and in fights isn't new either, we've just been so brainwashed the last few decades with the Global Women = good, men = bad campaign we've forgotten that women are no angels.

At least it's good to see people taking notice of it and that women will be their own undoing. I know, we've ignored female criminality for pretty much all of time, but we can't ignore it forever. Women want to be equal, better start getting ready to spend equal time in prison. Or maybe we'll actually start looking for more effective ways of assisting those with problem drinking kick the habbit now that we've noticed the problem is effecting women. That approach could have side benefits for men with alcohol problems which would be good.

Oh well, maybe not the whole generation but at least some of these boards.

But one thing is for sure, I would not want to be this girl's diving partner. That is not meant as a joke - who would be stupid enough to be her partner? It is my understanding divers cannot go off alone. It would have to be someone unaware of her background.
Divers have to be cool-headed anyway, partner issue asside. There is no way she should be allowed to get a license (or certification or whatever), on the grounds that she would be a danger to herself and her partner.
