Teen Girl Lies about Her Age; BF Jailed
Story here. Excerpt:
'Her daughter climbed out of windows late at night and slipped back in during the early morning hours. She brought a guy into her home while her mother slept. The sad truth is, this girl was not the victim of a sexual predator. She was dating. Thompson took her to meet his family.
If she found Thompson, she'll possibly find another date.
She and other girls who lie about their ages and get into inappropriate relationships that lead to serious trouble for others should receive juvenile summons themselves. That, at least, might force them to talk to someone about why they are compelled to seek out older guys. At best, it might deter young girls from playing adult games, putting themselves and unwitting males at risk.
Thompson, unfairly, will forever be linked to the sexual predators of society.'
So, now young men (who already lag well behind girls in reading, writing and vocabulary skills in school) need to be able to test a potential dates ability to communicate? What does that even really mean?
Didn't the author blame him earlier for not picking up that this girl had the "communication abilities" of a 13-year-old and that the differences are so distinct between 13 year olds and 16 year olds that he couldn't have missed it? But she was introduced to his whole family and they all bought her lies. They must also be all male and therefore stupid right?
Of course he does think girls who do this should be charged as well - but only so they can get some one to talk to. Only boys need 15 months (what this young man got) in jail.
This may have destroyed the rest of this young man's life and it clearly was not rape or non-consensual under any definition. Is this really the best way to deal with the issue of teen-aged sexuality?

Is it worth
Sex today is the most dangerous pastime.
These media clowns get harder to understand every day
The guy who wrote this story is a vascillating moron.
Let us divide the article into 3 parts:
Part I (first couple paragraphs): Writer expresses sympathy for girl who lied, scorn for boy involved. Article at this point, seems to be headed in the same old direction, i.e. man bad, woman good.
Part II (bulk of article): Writer switches gears mid-story, says some of the blame should be placed on girl. Goes into a certain amount of detail about this.
Part III(grand finale) - I quote:
"And, as far as gentlemen go, I think we have a responsibility to do what we can to make sure every mother's daughter is out of harm's way."
Now the man is supposed to be the substitute caretaker. Like I said, whoever wrote the story is a flaming jackass.

Not just a moron
He isn't just a moron, he is dangerous. He has obviously been brainwashed to serve the female control factors of his life. There are many "men" that have supposedly jobs of power and importance that do what they are told. Training of weak minds is why we are in the situation that we are in today. He obviously is a toad with a weak mind, but very dangerous because he has an outlet provided by the enemy.
I'm still trying to figure out what harm she was in
From the sounds of things, not only was she completely consenting to all of this she lied and manipulated everyone around her to control the situation.
And being a 13 year old girl today I am reasonably certain that she knew she was the one in complete control. I mean, it certainly didn't end as badly for her as it did for him right? God help any guy that marries her now that she has seen the legal system destroy a young man's life under the guise of her protection.
I completely agree that the author has absolutely no coherent point as to what he thinks should be done about issues like this.
I think these young people need some guidance and taught self discipline because they obviously did some reckless and stupid things, but I really do not see the need for the legal system here.
