The multilingual site maintained by Ottawa police in partnership with the RCMP, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Immigrant Women Services Ottawa outlines the rights of all Canadians regardless of nationality."

Women! Come to Canada, claim to be abused and get a free ride on us!

The police are in the business of collecting fees from civil violations and receiving fees for laying charges/putting people in prison. The more people they charge the more money they get. Right or wrong matter about as much to the average police officer as providing good customer service matters to the average minimum wage employee at Wal-Mart. They are just there to do the job. Police officers are programed exactly how to think and act. They are not the genius, all knowing all caring , people you see on CSI. They play the odds and are not above telling little white lies to make the case the way they want it to be. If odds are the case will get taken up by the prosecutors office then they will make the arrest. nothing gets done.

Just ask former RCMP commissioner Giuliano Zaccardelli. He resigned yesterday, admitted to falsifying evidence and testimony resulting in a man getting deported by US officials and tortured, but still says he did the right thing and did nothing wrong. If that's the attitude of the top cop in Canada, what do you think the rank and file officers are like?
