Male teachers slow to push dress code for fear of accusations

Is there any wonder why male teachers are on the endangered species list?

"The Minidoka County School Board in southern Idaho has resolved to more strictly enforce dress code rules after some male teachers said they were reluctant to deal with underdressed students for fear of being accused of sexual harassment."

I do not blame male teachers at all for being hesitant to ask young girls to cover up. Not only are young girls very eager to experiment with their blossoming sexual power by flaunting their bodies and acting in provocative ways, they are also eager to wield their social power by manipulating others socially to achieve what they desire and destroy those who oppose them.

All of this is completely normal behavior and should be expected. The problem is young women do not have the checks and balances to know where to draw the line. Society used to recognize this and grant teachers, guardians and authorities the power to curtail excessive behavior in young women. This is no longer permitted, as the damage this type of behavior causes is much more visible to males as males are the ones primarily damaged by it. Females are more likely to see the behavior as innocent and nothing to worry about (because they were the same and still grew up successfully) and therefore do nothing to stop it.
