India: New Sexist DV Law Criticized
Submitted by Anonymous on Mon, 2006-11-13 08:59
The Indian parliament recently passed a new DV law. The law has been severely criticized by the MRAs, journalists, and senior lawyers, because 1. It's sexist (covers only violence against women by men), 2. The definition of DV is too wide, almost ridiculous, 3. Effectively shifts the burden of proof on the accused man.
Here's Ms Renuka Chowdhary - Minister of Women's welfare being interviwed by Karan Thapar - a journalist. She is not able to give any coherent reply to Karan's questions. Read it here.

Ed. note: The interviewer is rather famous in India. Read about him here. Also read about Renuka Chowdhary here.

Amazing reading that
Incredible. But there she is, a gov't minister. Look how it ends, with a warning for the interviewer no less, about vague repercussions should he continue to *resist*:
'Renuka Chowdhury: That doesn’t deny the right for us to bring about a law like this. It is a unmet need and women across the country have not yet protested.
Karan Thapar: You are saying to me that a bad law is better than no law at all?
Renuka Chowdhury: If you want to say it that way. Any law is better than no law at all.
Karan Thapar: Ms Chowdhury, a pleasure talking to you on Devil’s Advocate.
Renuka Chowdhury: Well, thank you. But be careful.'
Orwell is turning in his grave
Indians are replacing their sacred animal: the holy cow is superseded by the holy cunt.
I have read it all. It seems that 1984 is coming. With the Big Sister instead of Big Brother.
Hahaha!
I laughed for a good five minutes at that one, nbdspcl!
Renuka Chowdhury does a evil laugh in the end.
You can watch clips of the interview there too. Did you folks notice she does a evil laugh in the end.
This lady's more ridiculous than Mike Nifong..if that's possible
"Karan Thapar:...A very bad legal framework, insufficient legal framework and an imprecise one.
Renuka Chowdhury: Please listen to me. Can I be allowed to talk or otherwise this is deemed as domestic violence, this is professional violence.
Karan Thapar: That’s the danger; you are proving my point.
Renuka Chowdhury:Absolutely.
Karan Thapar:A mere interruption becomes domestic violence"
What is this lady Chowderhead fucking talking about? She sounds like she's drunk during the interview, or maybe high on whatever they smoke over there. It figures an Industrial Psychology major would speak gibberish...since they learn how to become business managers, and then hoodwink their employees.
Maybe they should put out a hit on her..how's that for professional violence?? Or maybe she can just go lay down in the road.. as the old Indian joke goes, "There's a bus leaving at five..be under it."

hi nbdspcl
From her photo, it looks like it's still the Holy Cow.
Is she related to you?

This interview is invaluable.
People like her are ordinary radicals, and this interview proves not only this but also a lot of other things. It's a milestone because it puts a spotlight on feminist ignorance and hatred that couldn't be brighter. It's only comparable with the interview of that Swedish feminist saying men are animals.
Is she related to me? Don't
Is she related to me? Don't know why such a weird idea could came into your head. Are you looking for common relatives or what?
No ndbsplcsa
No, I am looking to get trolls off this site.
-Axolotl
then
Then why are you still here?
Well..I usually don't argue with trolls, but
I noticed you just popped up on the site. I have been on it for almost 2 years, which is a pretty long time for a troll. Also I have contributed money to the site.
You?
-Axolotl
I don't usually argue with trolls, but
I cannot care less for how long you have been on this site. What you are saying me it for? I made a comment, you began to flame and to flood like all the trolls do. I've been visiting this site for quite a while and noticed that you are the only permanent troll here. Nobody usually argue with you though (no one usually argues with trolls).
Commonplace Feminist Arrogance & Condescension
mcc99 - "Incredible. But there she is, a gov't minister. Look how it ends, with a warning for the interviewer no less, about vague repercussions should he continue to *resist*:"
The not-so-thinly-veiled threat is standard protocol in all the state-mandated Domestic Violence "Treatment" counseling programs that men-who-insult-and-ignore-women are court sentenced to attend for 6 -12 months for a non-violent DV misdemeanor.
If you were repulsed by the East Indian version of a feminist DV advocate, you could easily locate dozens of them wherever you live. (Just dial 911 and in your best soprano voice say --- "I'm afraid of HIM!" You'll be immediately connected with the elaborate DV Industry of helpful professionals who care about you...)
Just take a day off work and go on a field trip to Family Court in your locale.
Sit in the peanut gallery and watch the unending spectacle of feminist tryanny.
(If you're in a marriage or relationship, leave your soulmate at home... she won't appreciate why anything is wrong with the current anti-male legal shitstem.)
And explaining it to her could land you right back in court!
???
I am saying you it for (sic) because trolls also play stupid and type in non-sensical phrases, to make the whole site look stupid. Also they think they can wreck the site by starting arguments. I got news for you, this site has been around for a few years, and withstood many trolls..you are but a speck on a gnat's ass, compared to most of the other ones.
If I am the one flooding, then how come your last couple of responses are within one half hour of mine? And what were you doing up at 3 a.m.?? Don't you have a life, or at least work part-time? Or do you have a man supporting you who is at work even now, and little does he know what you are doing while sitting at HIS desk using HIS computer in HIS house?
You seem to be getting quite steamed up..sit back, take a deep breath and relax. Later, if you feel like getting spun up again, look at Wendy McElroy's web site, or that of Carey Roberts; or read something by Camille Paglia. This one site should not occupy so much of your time.
