Is depression now a license to kill for women? Maybe each Prozac prescription should include a defense attorney's phone number. Story here. Excerpt:
"Kathleen Hill, doctors for both the defense and the prosecution testified that she suffered from depression and post-traumatic stress disorder because she was a battered wife."

What makes her so unbelievable...
... is the fact that she was a corr. officer, armed routinely, and female. Now all she would have had to do at any time is call her cop friends and tell them to come and take her abusive husband away and they would have done so without question--and she knows this. So she waits THREE YEARS and tolerates this terrible man all that time before coming forward?! I suppose feminists would have you believe that yes, women are so weak and and in need of protection that not even armed peace officers who are female can be expected to stand up to their downpressor husbands.
Well I don't know the details of this case, but it stinks to high heaven.
So What Is New?
Maybe this man's family should take the law into their own hands and mete out justice to this husband killer since the law is so chickenshit to do it? And I do believe that the interracial angle, she white, he black, had something to do with her getting off so lightly.
Has there ever been a man found not guilty of killing an abusive wife by using the battered spouse syndrome?
