SAFE-NH Sibling Violence Brochure available now!
VIP SAFE NH writes "There is not much information regarding sibling violence available
so we have responded to this need from our contacts by developing a
brochure on the subject so that families who need help with this issue
will know that we are available to assist.
Sibling Violence is not sibling rivalry, it should be looked at
more in the context of bullying, child abuse and possibly as another
form of domestic violence."
Click "Read more..." for more."The effects on the victim are enormously damaging emotionally and
possibly lethal in its extremes. The effects of this on the abusive
sibling are equally damaging in other ways, and can potentially set in
motion the precedence for the perpetration of abuse as the child
matures and develops intimate relationships.
More studies need to be done but assistance is available for
families struggling with this. Our brochure is one of the ways we are
utilizing to get the word out that there is help available.
SAFE-NH is available to anyone dealing with this issue and others
relating to intimate partner and family violence, bullying etc. and we do so regardless of age or gender.
PLEASE remember that our services are FREE to anyone who contacts
us, so if you are able, consider helping us to remain available by
