Doctoral Student Seeks Testimony from Male DV Victims

ABUSIVE, HETEROSEXUAL RELATIONSHIP?

My name is Jessi Eckstein and I am working on doctoral studies in
communication at the University of Illinois. I am conducting a
study on the experiences of men who have been abused in heterosexual
relationships.

The goal of this study is to better understand abused men's
experiences, with the hope that this understanding can be used to
help others.

we can set up a time when I can call you on the phone. Everything
you tell me will be strictly confidential and you do not even have
to tell me your real name. I'll also share the results of the study
with you if you are interested.

The only requirements of the study are that you be male, are or have
been in an abusive relationship with a female partner, are English-
speaking, and reside within the United States.
