Underacheivement of males in the education system

A_level_student_needing_help writes "As an A level sociology student I am interested in completing a piece of coursework detailing the underacheivement of males in the education system. Why is it? I need to include some parliamentary acts passed within the last centuary to support this argument. If anyone has any ideas that I may find useful please post on this site. Any contribution whatsoever would be appreciated, and I'll let you know how I get on. Thanks."
