'Last year marked the first time in several years that the Army achieved its ambitious recruiting goals -- primarily due to an increase in female recruits, according to internal service data reviewed by Military.com.

Nearly 10,000 women signed up for active duty in 2024, an 18% jump from the previous year, while male recruitment increased by just 8%, the data shows. The hike comes as the service continues to struggle with recruiting men, who have traditionally filled the bulk of its ranks but have become more of a challenge to enlist in recent years.

The numbers mark the continuation of a trend reported in a Military.com investigation that found a yearslong Army recruiting slump was centered around men, while female recruiting numbers have remained relatively strong. They also point to young women as an increasingly vital recruiting pool, especially as young men are struggling to meet the Army's eligibility requirements.'

Just don't. Women can join. Go ahead, have fun. The armed forces can be made up of women for all I care. But don't do it, guys.

First, it's become feminized. So that's something you'd be stuck dealing with.

Next, you can get things like TBIs from routine training. Ever stood next to a modern large Howitzer and blasted shells from it repeatedly? Then later you find you have tinnitus and also suffer from really bad headaches and PTSD. This is from TBIs. And you can get them from firing off rounds of field gun ammunition as well as from an IED that goes off near you. And hey, my guess is you like having both your legs? You wouldn't want to lose them in combat, would you?

With administrations that pander to feminists and care nothing for you as a soldier, the whole "it's noble to serve" thing is a load of bunk. It's not noble. It's getting yourself shot at, bombed on, screamed at, and to add insult to injury, feminized.

Why exactly would any man want to join the military these days?

Leave it to the women, men. You've been getting your legs blown off for politics and profits quite enough these past 200 or more years. Let "the ladies" get a snootful of it. After all, they want Equality, right?
