International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Men

It is so well documented in every nation that men suffer a disproportionate amount of violence that it need not be referenced here.

Every year, a major international conference is held about violence. In between are committees, regional conferences, studies, reports and the proposal of various regulations and laws to further curb violence. Much of this is organised by the United Nations, who spend billions of dollars on talking about eliminating violence. The United Nations are the body who, back in 1948, came up with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which insists upon equal treatment of men and women.

So it should not surprise you that the United Nations is as keen to deal with the violence against men as it is to deal with the violence against women.

But it is not.

The United Nations only cares about violence done to women. All of those speeches, studies, and resolutions about violence are specifically and only about the violence done to women. Much of it concentrating only on the violence done to women by men – women who are victims of other women are of less interest.

Of course we want to stop the violence done to women. Even more, the violence done to children. And we should not forget the majority of violence, done to men.

According to the United Nations, the 25th November is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Other female days include:

Despite the lie told by the United Nations men suffer the majority of the world's violence. If you did not know that, I encourage you to check your nation's statistics, whatever your nation is. You are welcome to try to find global statistics but it isn't easy: most of your searching will discover only information about narrow areas where women are claimed to suffer more (and they might do, within narrow definitions). Even your national search may be difficult, as the billions of dollars spent every year on propaganda tries to hide even the fact that most violence occurs away from the home.

There is no United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Men. There is no United Nations day for men or even boys at all, of any sort. How is that for an organisation whose members have almost all signed up to the concept of equality?

You will find it hard to discover proof that the United Nations itself wishes equality upon the world. It does not. It is a self-declared feminist organisation, and that is why it doesn't give a damn about men, or children who are male, or about genuine equality.

Dr. Jerome Teelucksingh, who founded the 19 November as International Men's Day (the United Nations later decided it was International Toilet Day) has declared 31 January as International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Men and Boys. Put that in your diary but don't expect the United Nations to go along with it any time soon.
