This week's MANN chat will be held on NOTICE: This story was migrated from the old software that used to run Mensactivism.org. Unfortunately, user comments did not get included in the migration. Wednesday night (6/11), starting at 9:30 PM Eastern Time, at the
href="http://www.mensactivism.org/chat.shtml">usual location.
Tonight's topic will be "Improving Men's Health, One Man at a
Time." Around the world, June 9-15,
2003 is being celebrated as
href="http://www.menshealthweek.org/imhw/imhw.htm">International Men's
Health Week (IMHW). Being aware of our health and how we men
can improve it seems like a very good thing. However, there is
some debate among men's activists concerning whether we need special
governmental initiatives, offices, or programs to promote men's
health. Some men feel very strongly that we need an
href="http://www.menshealthoffice.info">office of men's health in
the government. Other guys want to limit government involvement
in health care matters, and emphasize each man's responsibility for his
own health care. (See the first comment

How do you feel about this issue? Grab a healthy beverage and
snack, and join your fellow men at tonight's chat to see what each of
us can do to improve his health.
