'Bones' Season 11, Episode 12 Spoilers: Brennan Loses Her Cool In 'The Murder Of The Meninist'

Article here. Excerpt:

'Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) is, arguably, the most calm and cool person on this planet. She uses science and rational thinking to make decisions, whether it's in her professional or personal life. However, the upcoming "Bones" episode is going to see this character lose her cool and assault a political activist.
...
According to the episode's synopsis (via SpoilersGuide), the Jeffersonian investigates a murder when a body is found in a car crash. This body belongs to a founder of a men's rights organization who may have been the victim of domestic abuse.

In order to conduct this investigation, Brennan must learn about the tenets of the victim's organization. She learns that the organization's members believe that middle-aged white men are oppressed in society and that feminists are, essentially, man-haters. This certainly does not go down well with Brennan. In fact, she loses her cool during an interrogation and assaults the organization's co-founder.'

..she assaults a "meninist" in order to prove feminists don't hate men.

For some reason, that doesn't get past my internal logic meter.

I watched "Law and Order" once and it involved a murder investigation. In the process of the investigation, they interviewed one man who said something like "women have it easy because they can work or be supported by a man." Sure enough, he turned out to be the murderer. But you knew that when they showed him to be a feminist heretic--he is therefore also a murderer. We all know that men who are not feminists go around killing women without remorse. That's just what they do.

Kinda like investigators attack "meninists" because they're not good feminists and thus deserve it.

By the way, I never watched "Law and Order" after that. And I never watch "Bones" anyway, but sure as heck won't watch after this.
