"The Future of Men" explores evolving gender roles

'With the role of men in society evolving, and a power shift toward women at work and home, the "traditional" male is dying out, according to author Jack Myers.

Myers argues men will "be increasingly defined, dominated, and controlled by women" in his new book, "The Future of Men: Masculinity in the Twenty-First Century."

"These young men are not their fathers, they're not their grandfathers. Young men who are growing up more and more in fatherless homes, growing up in homes where the woman is out-earning her husband, where they're both working -- they're not just defying traditional gender norms," Myers said Tuesday on "CBS This Morning."

Myers said younger men are "out-educated by women" and being "out-performed" by women economically, defining the last generation of "traditional" men as those in their late 20s.'

Men will "be increasingly defined, dominated, and controlled by women"? No, thanks. That doesn't sound like equality to me, but more like Orwell's Animal Farm.

The logical endgame of feminism, whether feminists admit it or not, appears to be the legal subjugation of men. Their belief is that women are good, men are bad; women are victims, men are villains; women are innocent, men are criminals. They demonize men and desire to make more and more male behavior criminal. If a man goes to a bar and tries to pick up women, he's now a predator, she the innocent prey. Being a father is now a criminal act; Sheriff Joe Arpaio routinely rounds up "deadbeat parents" on Valentine's Day, most of which are men.

Basically, the purpose of feminism is to use the law to turn men into a criminal/slave class with few rights. On campus, they deny accused men due process. They tell us to "believe the woman" if she accuses a man of rape. Feminist jurisprudence tells us women should have more rights to make them equal to men. They want women to make their own reproductive decisions but expect men or taxpayers to pay for them.

They want women to be treated as princesses, men as little more than slave labor to serve the needs of women. Feminists want the children, the jobs, and as much of men's wealth as they can get. They sell these ideas as "women's liberation" but enslave men in the process. They dispose of the children they don't want and turn men they no longer want into "deadbeat dads."

If things continue in this direction, most men will end up a slave class, expected to pay for the choices made by women. That may be an extreme way to put it, but it does appear to be the goal of feminism: women living nice comfortable lives made possible by the forced labor of men. They do not envision a world of men and women living together in a state of equality, but a world in which men are forced to serve women. They say men and women are constantly at war and the war can only be ended by the subjugation of men to women through the power of the government.
