UK: We must stop indoctrinating boys in feminist ideology

'On Wednesday, the Daily Mail reported that a school in Oxford has become the first to introduce “Good Lad” workshops, in which boys are singled out for sessions that teach them about “the scale of sexual harassment and violence aimed at female students” and how they must stand up for women's rights.

The workshops are the latest in a mushrooming series of initiatives in which ideologically-driven activists are being invited into schools, driven by the belief that boys need to be re-educated to prevent them from becoming a threat to women.

In November last year, The Times reported on a programme in London Schools in which two American women, one a former sex crime prosecutor, “re-programme teenage boys’ sexual manners so they are fit for a feminist world”.

According to the report, they start the class by asserting that “misogyny is on the rise”, before going on to “describe real-life sex crimes that have happened to teenagers in this area with brutal accuracy”. The article concludes – approvingly -- that by the end of the session, the boys are “scarred for life”.'

This is terrible!!!

The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world!! Every person with a political agenda wants to control the kids.

...and as a homeschooling mom, I get criticized for wanting to keep my kids "ignorant" and I am accused of "imposing my biases on them" because so many people believe that only public education is unbiased and politically neutral. That is such a load of BS.

I realize this occurred in England, but shit like this could easily happen in the USA. I am not familiar with England's school system, but here in the USA the people would even get paid to expose the kids to this, and all the school's money is funded through taxes.

This is why I vote "No" on every single school levy (a vote for more school funding). Schools have kids for 6 hours a day!!! They go beyond academics and are trying to replace the parent's role and parent's influence. They don't need another dime, IMO! And we need to reel in their role and limit it to academics. They don't need to be building birth control clinics, teach feminist politics and evaluating and changing boys' behavior and ideas which have nothing to do with academics.

BTW - I was recently informed that feminists hate homeschoolers as they think we are all religious nuts who want to control our daughter's sexuality. Homeschooling laws are always being attacked, usually by liberals. Although homeschooling has more that it's share of religious families, it is getting more diverse as more people are getting fed up with what is being taught in public schools.
