Is Chivalry Dead? Viral Picture Sparks Online Debate

'Do you see something wrong in the picture above? [link added]

The photo, which is making the rounds on social media, is drawing people's ire because it shows the man walking on the inside of the sidewalk while the woman walks on the outside, closer to the gutter and street.

The photo has ignited a debate as to if chivalry is dead.

Relationship expert and dating coach Rachel DeAlto appeared on "Fox and Friends Weekend" to share some tips for the modern man to be more chivalrous.

These include, as we learned above, walk on the outside of the sidewalk, open any door and let the lady go first and be the one to call and make plans.

"I always say women want to feel safe, sexy and secure, so if you can do those three things and that's all [that] chivalry does," DeAlto said.'

omg!!! the blokes can't win!!

this is utter bollocks!! i mean, no matter what men do, they just cannot win!! if they behave chivalrously, they are "sexist"!
if they do not behave chivalrously they are "sexist"!
no matter what they do, or how or why they do it, they are "sexist"!! honestly, i don't see how you men keep your collective sanity, in all this!!
listen, i open doors for people all the time (both women and men, alike) does this mean i am "sexist" or just try to be courteous? either way, i get no reprimand from anyone.
my brother does the same thing (for either sex). it's how we were raised.
if he does it for a man, no worries. but on occasion when he has done it for a woman, he has gotten dirty looks and was even chastised, a couple of times.
he opens doors for people, because he is a good person. not because he is trying to "oppress" or "belittle" anyone! but, no. if i do it (as a female) i am being "courteous". if my brother does it he is "sexist".

one other thing... in that photo. has any of these blithering 'gender-idiots' ever considered that maybe the woman in the picture wants to walk on the outside towards the street? maybe she was heading to work, and needed to be on that part of the sidewalk, so she could more easily cross the street to get to her job (or wherever she may be going).
did they ever consider that? no. they HAVE to read it as some sort of sexist, oppression of a woman by a man!
and, honestly in the grand total of all things, what the f**k difference does it make in the f**king first place??
jesus c***st! when did my gender literally begin to believe that we are the center of the g** damned universe??
as a woman, i find that very embarrassing, and shameful!!!
and we wonder why the number of MRAs are growing. and why the MGTOW movement is growing. and why male tolerance of women's self indulgent, narcissistic behavior is more and more being called into question.

there's that old saying that "chivalry didn't die, it was murdered".

ladies..., we have no one to blame but ourselves for that, by and large.
my sex is the only group of people , on earth, that i know of, who whine and cry when we don't have something we want. then get what we want, and then whine and cry that we HAVE it!
susan b. anthony has to be rolling over in her grave.

...my personal apologies, ms. anthony. :(
